Carlos and Jenny met back in 2015 when Jenny was working on one of her first short films.

They stayed acquaintances until they crossed passed again in the most unexpected way.

On January 4th, 2023, Carlos was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma and moved back to Miami from Atlanta for treatment and to be with his family. May 3rd, 2023 was his last day of treatment.

He had just recently finished chemotherapy and, being the go-getter he is, was already back at the gym, in UFC Fit, Pembroke Pines. Jenny was taking a kickboxing class there at the same time.

They reconnected and talking to each other felt effortless. Carlos asked Jenny to an MMA fight event and dinner the next day for their first date. He fed her maduros --the rest is history.

Their love continued to grow.

They attended Jenny's film premiere.

Jenny always dreamed of visiting Europe. Earlier that year she even put pictures of Ireland and Spain on her vision board.

When Carlos was undergoing chemotherapy his mom promised to take him to Spain for the first time to visit his family.

He also decided to get a one way ticket and backpack through Europe. Carlos invited Jenny on this once-in-a-lifetime, dream trip.

They lived out of their backpacks for almost two months while traveling!

They traveled through Spain, Portugal, England, Ireland, Amsterdam and Italy!

On April 20th, 2024 Carlos proposed to Jenny and of course she said yes!

They obtained their marriage license and packed up their belongings in South Florida to move to their new home in Marietta, GA. Now residing there, they are building their future together as they prepare for their wedding!
