Our Wedding

How It BeganJennifer and Nathan represent a MainGate Merger, meeting at work in 2018. They first connected at a bowling alley in Talladega where they bonded over their hopes of seeing Leon Bridges who was performing in town. While they didn’t make it that time, they’ve seen him since live!&nbsp; The Dating YearsThere are many paths to a successful relationship, but few follow the path of Jennifer and Nathan. From spending much of the lockdown quarantined in a 600 square foot downtown Indy apartment, to a cross-country road trip that featured more than two weeks camping out of the back of a Rav4 while checking many state and national parks off their bucket lists, they quickly learned a lot about each other and recognized their love of spending time making memories together.&nbsp; Their Life TogetherWith many vacations and adventures under their belts, as well as multiple DIY house and yard projects, Jennifer and Nathan love to laugh and push one another to be their best, individually and together. And they can’t wait to share their special day with family and friends!

Our Story

Nate and Saeed met at Terre Haute-based Advics Manufacturing, where they worked nights on an assembly line. They passed the time discussing everything from sports to culture and movies. Despite the fact that their time as co-workers was brief, their friendship has lasted many years, and they remain as close as ever.

Jenn and Laura are cousins and spent countless weekends creating talent shows for the family’s entertainment. Later, they shared their passion for design and art, and yes, even Taylor Swift! Jenn and Laura share a love for traveling and are always discussing their next adventure.  Thanks to FaceTime, Laura’s LA home doesn’t seem quite so far away.

Nate worked with David at Toys ‘R Us in 2009. They bonded over a love for sports, and since then have played countless pick-up basketball games.  When Jenn is tired of sports talk, Nate calls David.

Christy entered the world a few months before Jenn and these cousins have been inseparable since.  From hidden tv remotes and hide-and-go-seek games, the giggles and laughter never ended.  Christy holds the title of funniest person Jenn and Nate know.

Nate also met Markus through David, although it is a matter of great debate as to where they actually met. Markus and Nate share many interests, especially sports and pop culture. They were roommates for two years before Nate found a job in Indianapolis.

Jenn and Jen met at their first job out of college and discovered many similarities including their names (although there is a debate on the correct spelling). In addition to all that comes from sharing a first job, they discovered that the answer to all work challenges is an afternoon McDonalds Diet Coke  and a Dove chocolate.

Jennifer Preston

Nate met Kenny through David and the basketball games that were played in the early 2010s. Team David and his wife Lexi vs Team Nate and Kenny resulted in matchups that were fun, super competitive, and yielded stories that will last forever.

Kenny McClain

Jenn met Molly in their freshman dorm at IU, and they lived together in Bloomington’s best apartment their senior year. They surely became VIP customers at Jimmy John’s, and one influenced the other to skip class in order to get a second set of ear piercings. They were a great example of people who live together eventually look and talk like one another! 

Molly DeLetto

The oldest of Nate’s siblings, Travis is three years younger than Nate. They are both huge sports fans and have similar taste in TV shows. Nate and Travis can often be found looking for the punch line in a corny joke or trying to put together the best monotone outfit.

Travis Staggs

Jenn and Tanner met through their sorority, Theta Phi.  Jenn could often be found crashing on the big brown couch at Abbey and Tanner's apartment.  During her years in NYC, Tanner was a good sport in joining Jenn at her favorite dive bar every time she was in town.  

Lauren Tanner

Damon is five years younger than Nate, and the middle brother of the family.  Damon is an avid Pacers, Packers and UFC fan.  Both Nate and Damon are graduates of the Kyle Hornsby and Dane Fife Basketball Clinic.

Damon Staggs

Jenn and Abbey met as Theta Phi Alpha sorority sisters.  Abbey is the friend who would call in your Jimmy John’s order when the online ordering system is down and you hate talking on the phone, and Jenn may have taken her up on this a time or two.

Toby is seven years younger than Nate. Both graduated from Indiana State University, and are proud Sycamores.  Toby and Nate share a strong interest in the 4 S's: Sports, Star Wars, Stugotz and Shoes.

Jenn and Jen (you’re not seeing double … or triple …) met through Jenn’s cousin Christy when the girls were MUCH younger, then reconnected while standing in line during sorority recruitment at IU. Their friendship was sealed when they both pledged Theta Phi.

Jen Meyer

Since Dusty is ten years younger, Nate has loved watching him grow up. Nate considers Dusty one of the smartest people in his life, and hopes they spend many more hours watching SpongeBob together. 

Dusty Barkwell

Jemma is Jenn's niece and the only person who share's Jenn's love of buttered popcorn jellybeans.  She is known for live-texting a play by play of every Taylor Swift concert during the Era's tour.  Jemma and Jenn can be found repping matching shirts on their lake weekends during the summer.
