We are asking for formal attire. Note that Boston in September can sometimes be a tad chilly. Dress to impress, but feel your best!

There is free parking available at the Dante Alighieri Society reception venue (parking lot entrance located off Cardinal Medeiros Ave). If you are unable to find a spot at the reception lot, we suggest the garage at 290 Binney Street. There is also metered street parking on Binney Street by the Reception and on Memorial Drive by the Chapel.

Yes! We will have hors d'oeuvres followed by a buffet dinner and of course cake! Each guest will be allotted 2 drink tickets for beer/wine, and unlimited soft drinks on us. Beyond that it will be a cash bar offering various drink options.

The ceremony and reception will both be held indoors. You can enjoy the MIT quad and reception courtyard at your leisure, but the main events will be inside.

There will be a shuttle service loop from the Dante Reception venue to the MIT Chapel and back running from 2:30-5:30pm available for all guests. We suggest parking by the Reception and using the shuttle to/from the Ceremony. It is also about a 15 minute walk if you want to stretch your legs.

We are only able to accommodate those listed on the invite you received. If your invite was addressed to you "and guest," then you may bring a guest. If your invite did not include "and guest," please do not bring anyone extra as we will not be prepared for them.

Your presence is more than enough! If you do wish to offer a gift, check the registry tab on this website. You can ship items directly to us rather than having to carry them with you on the day.
