Mill Street is one of the best restaurants in town and is very close to Hotel 24 South! We love their ribs and sangria. It was previously an operating flour mill, White Star Mills, and has a lot of history and character.

Another local favorite - Wrights Dairy-Rite is an old school drive in founded in 1952. They have great burgers, sandwiches & shakes and a fun retro environment! Casual and quick spot to grab lunch/dinner or a shake.
Always fun to walk through the local farmers market. It is open September Saturdays from 7am-12 noon. There will be food and artisan products from local vendors and farms, as well as live music!

Monticello was the primary plantation of Thomas Jefferson, a Founding Father and the third president of the United States, who began designing Monticello after inheriting land from his father at age 14. There are a variety of tickets to explore the house, grounds, and garden.
