Our Wedding

We started as neighbors. Just two people, minding our own business—him, a born-and-raised South Philly guy with a love for cheesesteaks and Philadelphia home teams; her, a Long Island, New York native with strong opinions on real bagels and close-by beaches.It was the middle of COVID, and the world felt a little upside-down. Neither of us were really looking for anything—except maybe toilet paper and a place with good outdoor seating. But life had other plans.It started with a dozen Dunkin Donuts and a shared appreciation for laughter and family. What began as simple chats across the street turned into spending time together, taking Rufus out to as many parks as possible (yes, he definitely approved of this new man in his life), and close friend groups becoming one.Over a short time, it just became clear: in the weirdest of times, we found the most unexpected thing—love.We’ve shared so many moments since—birthdays, road trips, family gatherings and holidays, trips with friends, celebrations of achievements and even the inevitable hard moments life brings. But through it all, one thing stayed the same: we feel like home to each other.Almost six years later, we can’t wait to celebrate with the people who mean the most to us. Thank you for being part of our story. Let’s make a few more memories together and help us continue writing!
