Q + A

What attire should I wear?

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal. While we want everyone to feel comfortable, we kindly ask that you refrain from wearing jeans or anything too casual. We also kindly ask that guests do not wear an entirely white outfit to the wedding, as we'd like to reserve that for the bride. We can't wait to see everyone looking their best and having a great time! Please feel free to bring sunglasses for the ceremony and to remove any jackets at any time you're too warm. We will supply fans for the ceremony, and the reception will be air conditioned. Comfy shoes to dance in are recommended :)

Where will the ceremony and reception be taking place?

Both the ceremony and reception will take place at The English Manor in Ocean, NJ. The ceremony will begin at 5:30 PM.

What time can I arrive?

Guests can start to arrive at 4:45 PM. We suggest arriving by at least 5:15 PM so you can comfortably park, find your seat, and settle in before we say "I DO"!

Will shuttle service to/from the hotel be provided?

Yes! We want you to relax and safely enjoy our Big Day. That is why we have arranged complimentary transportation to and from the hotel and the venue. Shuttles will depart from the Sheraton Eatontown at 4:10 PM and 4:50 PM. At the end of the night, the shuttle will return back to the Sheraton Eatontown, leaving the venue at 10:10 PM and 11 PM. The shuttle will depart in front of the Sheraton Eatontown, or in front of the English Manor. Look for a yellow school bus. Ubers are also available in the area if needed.

Is there parking at the ceremony/reception?

Yes. The English Manor has a parking lot, as well as street parking.

Can I bring a date?

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP.

Can I bring my children?

Although we adore children, we are only able to accommodate children in the immediate family at our ceremony and reception. Thank you for your understanding!

Is The English Manor handicap accessible?

Yes. There are ramps where needed throughout the venue.

Will the wedding be indoors or outside?

The ceremony will take place outside (weather permitting). The cocktail hour will take place both inside and outside. The reception will take place inside.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

We kindly ask that phones and cameras remain out of sight until the ceremony conclusion and the start of cocktail hour! We are hiring a photographer to capture all of the special moments. We invite you to be truly present with us during our nuptials with an unplugged ceremony. We will happily share our professional images with you after the wedding.

Can I take pictures during the cocktail hour/reception?

Yes, please do! We welcome you to take as many photos as you'd like. Feel free to send them our way, we'd love to see them! Please navigate to the "POV App" tab of this website to find out how you can add pictures to a shared album!

What happens after the ceremony?

We will hold a cocktail hour after the ceremony until dinner at 7pm. We will have appetizers passed around during cocktail hour as well as multiple food stations so be sure to join us hungry!

Do I need to choose my dinner preference ahead of time?

You do not need to select a dinner option beforehand. Orders will be taken table side during the reception. If you have specific allergies or restrictions, please contact us and we will work with our venue.

What's the bar situation?

We'll provide a fully open bar with premium spirits, beer, cocktails, and a selection of red & white wines (as well as multiple non-alcoholic options, juices, and coffees).

When is the RSVP deadline?

Kindly RSVP through this website as soon as possible. You can RSVP by click on the "RSVP" tab.
