Long story short, Justin and Jen met in a volleyball league... at a bar... but volleyball league sounds better, right? Jen quickly became friends with Justin and his teammates, and thank you to cupid (who we'll call "Ella"), Justin and Jen went out for a date.

The night of their first date, Jen's friends needed extra people for dodgeball, so in typical Jen fashion, athletics became the priority and they decided that they would get dinner after playing dodgeball. Jen picked Justin up for dodgeball, but first had to change into her dodgeball gear. She trekked up to Justin's apartment and did just that. On the way out, Justin put his finger in to sniff, what he thought at the time was, chocolate ice cream that he just assumed one of his roommates didn't clean up. It was not chocolate ice cream, but doggy doo-doo :/ Jen had dragged it all the way through his apartment.

I would say the rest is history, but at dodgeball, Justin proceeded to HIT JEN WITH THE BALL in the first minute of the first match, therefore, knocking her out of the game. Jen, very seriously, told him that he better not do that again... yet the very next match, he did just that. If anyone knows Jen, you know how competitive she is, and somehow, she still went to dinner with him later that night. THEN, the rest was history.

To this day, Justin and Jen are in that same volleyball league they met in, and they are still on different teams, always keeping the competitive juices flowing.
