In Fall 2014, Matthew and Jennifer began their student careers at Five Towns College. That semester, Jennifer sat down behind Matthew in their first Popular Music of America class. Matthew introduced himself immediately told Jennifer "You have really pretty eyes." He just couldn't help himself.

Over the course of the school year, Matthew and Jennifer eventually found themselves in same friend group. By the end of the Fall 2015 semester, Matthew and Jennifer realized they had very strong feelings for each other. However, this was just around the time Jennifer was accepted for the Disney College Program at Disney World in Orlando, FL. While this would put their romantic feelings on the back burner, Matthew was sure of his feelings and promised Jennifer he would support her and be there for her when she came home.

Through the hard work at college and Disney World in the Spring 2016 semester, Matthew and Jennifer kept in constant contact. However, this was a very unsure time for our lovers. Would their feelings withstand the time and distance between them? Would Matthew still have these feelings for Jennifer when she returned, or vice versa? Were the two friends better off as just that... friends?

Jennifer finally returned home during the summer of 2016 and invited her friends to her home for a "Welcome Home" Party. Matthew and Jennifer were so excited to see each other, and after the party the two confirmed that their romantic feelings for one another persisted. And the next time they saw each other on July 23, 2016, the two officially started their relationship.

Throughout the years, Matthew and Jennifer accomplished a lot together. From Disney Club President and Vice President, graduation, obtaining full-time jobs, and moving out of home, they seemed to be doing it all! In February 2022, Matthew and Jennifer finally moved into their first apartment together. It wasn't long after that Matthew had begun planning to propose.

In June 2022, Matthew had discussed his feelings for Jennifer with his family, and with Jennifer's family soon after. On September 29, just two days before their next trip to Disney World, Matthew picked up the engagement ring for Jennifer. The two flew to Disney World to celebrate the park's 50th anniversary and began a vacation they would never forget. From Animal Kingdom, to Hollywood Studios, to EPCOT, the two had a blast on their trip.

On October 4, the last park day had finally come and it was time for Magic Kingdom. While walking into the park and approaching Cinderella's Castle, both Matthew and Jennifer were noticeably nervous. Resigning that the upcoming events were making themselves obvious, Matthew joked with Jennifer that they were just getting their picture taken and there was nothing to be worried about.

After settling their nerves, Matthew and Jennifer found a Disney World Photopass photographer just off to the side of the castle. They took their routine photos, standing next to each other, a kissing photo. Finally, Matthew dropped to one knee and pulled out the engagement ring and declared "Jennifer, you are a real life Disney Princess and it would be the biggest honor to be a part of your Happily Ever After" and asked her to marry him. As you can guess, Jennifer happily said yes!

Now here we are... Matthew and Jennifer are planning their wedding for July 20, 2024 at the Estate at East Wind in Wading River, NY. And they truly hope you can be a part of that special and magical day. See ya real soon!
