Their love story dates all the way to 2010 when they were introduced on New Years Eve by Jenn’s best friends, Allie (their Maid Of Honor) and Elyse (their bridesmaid). John Mike asked Jenn on many dates over the next month as he knew right away, she was the one. Then, on Valentines Day, 2011, he built up the courage to ask her to be his one and only. They continued on as high school sweethearts for some time moving in to their college and university days. That's when Jenn became the cutest little rink rat, following John Mike's hockey games all over the province. Once they graduated and moved onto their current career paths, they bought a house together and have made it a beautiful home. It was in the warmth of this home where John Mike proposed on Christmas morning of 2018. She said "yes"!


It has now been over 9 years since they first came together and they are so very excited to start this next chapter of their lives. They can not wait to celebrate their love with family and friends on their special day in September.

Fast forward to Covid-19!!!! Nova Scotia goes in to a state of emergency -- Leading us to cancel our plans and celebrations for Aug. 29th with great disappointment. Three different wedding dates later, and, here we are finally celebrating our special day now that some restrictions were lifted because we just can't wait any longer (though it will be on a slightly smaller scale for now) on September 12, 2020!! This is one for the books for sure and we can't wait to become husband and wife!!
