Our Wedding

We first matched on OkCupid in April 2019—thankfully, she saw past my interesting picture choices and swiped right. Who needs the latest dating app when you have a 98% match score! Our first date was at the Aulde Dubliner in Ottawa, where a live band played so loudly we could barely hear each other. But when the vibe is right, words hardly matter. From that point on, everything started to fall into place. One bright spot of the pandemic was that it led us to move in together, and we’ve never looked back! From a six-month trip through Europe to moving to Toronto, each adventure brought us closer and filled our hearts with love and laughter. After five wonderful years together, I proposed, and we couldn’t be more excited for what the future holds!

We have departure options from Toronto, Ottawa, and Montréal ranging from 4-7 nights. Deposit & Booking Deadlines

To reserve your room and guarantee the rate,&nbsp;a deposit of $150 per person must be made no later than November 30, 2024. Current inventory is available on a first-come, first-served basis. DO NOT wait to book your room as this resort is popular and sell-outs out frequently. Final payment date is February 3rd, 2025.&nbsp; Paradisus Cancun requires all guests to book under this group contract, in order to assist the wedding couple with their wedding events and contracts. Please note, should you opt to book outside of this group contract, or should you choose to stay off property, your attendance to the wedding events cannot be guaranteed and costs associated with your attendance may be the responsibility of the guest. Costs will include: Ceremony: USD$10.00 per personCocktail USD$18.00 per personDinner Reception: USD$30.00 per person*Additional event passes might apply. Lastly, when booking your reservation, please fill out the credit card authorization form, including your CVV number, as part of the booking form (our forms are all API compliant and encrypted; our wedding specialist Carolina Gonzalez is the only person with access to this information). Important Travel Imformation

*Written by Carolina Gonzalez*The airport you are flying into is&nbsp;Cancun Airport (CUN). Your roundtrip flights are included in your Transat Vacation package. Schedules will not be recorded in your invoice as schedules are available with this charter closer to the final payment. I will be sure to provide you with the most up-to-date flight information for your chosen city.&nbsp; Transat Vacations will provide E Documents within 28 days of departure. At that time, I will be sending them to you via email.&nbsp; Airport Transfers - Airport transfers to and from the airport to the resort and return are included in your vacation package. So that you know, instructions will be given to you with your E documents.&nbsp;

Tips & Tricks

"Tips and Tricks"&nbsp; If you arrive at the resort before check-in time, you can still utilize all the amenities (pool, restaurants, activities, etc...). We recommend you pack a small bag with swimwear &amp; other necessities to use &amp; explore the resort while you wait for your room to be ready. *Please give yourself at least 24-36 hours before the wedding day to arrive in case of delays or cancellations.*
