Jenn and Will met in the spring of 2018 through the power of dance – their respective sorority and fraternity chapters were paired with each other for a dance competition (yes, it does still exist on the internet). Between practices, formals, and a plethora of other events, they spent quite a lot of time together that semester. As the school year ended, and as an excuse to make sure Jenn kept talking to him over the summer, Will insisted that she absolutely needed to watch The Truman Show, one of his favorite movies. Will insists Jenn was stubborn. Jenn insists if Will wanted her to watch the movie, he should ask her to watch it with him. Finally, a movie date was set, and after a few more dates, they officially started dating on July 13th, 2018. Their love has endured plenty of challenges, including but not limited to: a global pandemic, Will’s insufferable jokes, and Jenn’s pre-caffeine crankiness. Despite all of that, they finally moved in together in the summer of 2021 after Will graduated from Northeastern, and Jenn had a year of working and grad school under her belt. After a little over a year together at their Commonwealth apartment, Jenn and Will moved to Newton with Jenn’s parents and the national treasure himself, Pugsly, and have lived there ever since. Jenn and Will’s love has brought them far beyond the confines of Boston where they first met. They’ve spent time in Providence in search of adventure as one of their first trips together, in search of hot water when their water heater refused to work in the middle of winter, and in search of fitness running the Providence Half Marathon (which we will never do again). When their relationship was less than a year old, Will was invited to come to Vegas and Disneyland with the Seabolt family, where they got to experience the extreme desert heat and the Happiest Place on Earth (“with the person that makes me the happiest on Earth!” – Will. It’s okay to both say “aw” and cringe). They traveled to Hawaii in early 2020 to spend time with Jenn’s brother, sister-in-law, and nephew (and, with the gift of hindsight, were thrilled Northeastern’s spring break was at the end of February that year). Jenn and Will have also made a few trips to NYC and also visited the Bahamas and the Dominican Republic with Matt and Anne over the last couple of years. If the only thing Jenn and Will both liked was The Truman Show, we wouldn’t be here today. So what else do they do? They root for the Boston Red Sox from Fenway and from the couch, and they hope one day to catch a game from on top of the Green Monster. Not to be outdone in the realm of athletics by the likes of JD Martinez, they’ve run a handful of half-marathons together, spent plenty of time adjusting the seat height after the other person rides the Peloton, and won a kickball championship (with hopefully many more to come). Jenn and Will often share hit tweets, songs, and most importantly, dog videos, with each other at least once a day. Ever since Valentine’s Day 2019, Jenn and Will have spent Valentine’s Days, birthdays, and plenty of other special occasions at Mamma Maria, a quaint Italian restaurant in Boston’s North End. So, when Will was thinking of where to propose in the summer of 2023, there was no doubt as to where it needed to happen. After consultation with Jenn’s close friends, Will bought a ring and had it shipped to his parent’s house to avoid any suspicion from Jenn. He hid it with his Magic the Gathering cards, something that Jenn wouldn’t touch with a ten foot pole, so that she wouldn’t find it. When the moment came, Jenn still knew it was coming (so much for the surprise, but hey she’s smart). Regardless, Jenn said YES (and for the record, she freaked out in a good way when Will asked and cried when she saw the ring, so there was still some surprise!). Now we’ve reached the present, and we’re so excited to see you at our wedding! We are looking forward to celebrating the love we’ve cultivated with each other, and are even more excited to celebrate that love with all of our friends and family. Megan and Jenn met at Corepower Yoga back in 2018 and have been close ever since. From the yoga studio, countless Guns and Rosés at Barcelona, Megan's own wedding last year, and more, Jenn couldn't imagine life without Megan and is forever grateful for her friendship.

Sam and Will met through their fraternity in 2017. They quickly learned that they're the same type of nerd, partaking in Minecraft, Pokemon, Marvel, and more. Sam's companionship and comradarie are much appreciated by the bride and groom.

Maggie and Jenn were college roommates during Jenn's senior year of college, which sadly was cut short by COVID. Regardless, the two remained close, and have had many yoga dates, baked cookies together, and even traveled to Lake Champlain. Maggie always keeps Jenn grounded and Jenn couldn't be more grateful for her friendship!

Jon and Will met through mutual friends during the pandemic, and have since developed quite the connection of their own. They can often be found partaking in some tomfoolery, or maybe even being a little rambunctious. When that's not the case, they're probably running really far (occasionally together!).

Becca is one of the main reasons Jenn made it through college with some sanity. Whether they were planning Relay For Life, being stressed out dance moms for Take it to the Floor, going through the daily trials of being a 19/20-year-old,  or figuring out adulthood, Jenn can always count on Becca to be a constant in her life.

Ben and Will met during their freshman year of college and lived together for a couple years during the pandemic. While they shared a major in college and had a few classes together, they also shared a love for The Strokes, FIFA, and baseball (even though Ben is a Yankees fan).

Sara was another of Jenn's early friends at Inkhouse, and Sara never failed to let Jenn know when there was a pug outside the office window. Sara is one of those friends who will always be there for you, that you can go weeks without seeing each other but it feels like no time has passed, and will always be your personal cheerleader.

Isaac and Will met in late 2017, and their mutual silliness formed a strong bond right away. When they're not playing Magic the Gathering or D&D together, they're probably talking about the next time they'll be playing. Isaac and Will also enjoy a mutual love of Game Changer and other improv shows.

Katie is one of the first people Jenn met when starting at Inkhouse in November 2021 and immediately bonded over PR, Marvel, books, and more. Even though Katie has only been in Jenn's life for a few years, it has felt like a lifetime in the best way!

Will and Ben met through their fraternity as part of the same pledge class. Ever since then, Ben has kept Will's bad jokes in check and provided some dry humor of his own. They shared the trauma of living in Folsom, but thankfully found a nicer place to live in together during the pandemic and have remained close since graduating.

Jenn and Anne would like to thank Will and Matt for being roommates in college so they could become friends! Anne has been such a constant in Jenn's life – whether it's traveling, playing kickball and cards, or talking each other out of (or into...) online shopping, Anne is always there and Jenn can't imagine life without her!

Matt and Will lived together in college at Folsom, but their friendship really grew after they graduated from Northheastern. They can often be found together on the kickball field, eating sushi, or going over the best tweets they've seen recently. They're also both huge wife guys!

Breakfast and coffee<a href="https://saltandlight.cafe/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Salt and Light Café</a>&nbsp;– Great spot with fantastic lattes, southwestern-inspired breakfast dishes (like pulled pork hash and a brisket bowl), and homemade donuts on Saturdays. Easy walking distance from The Groton Inn.<a href="https://www.johnsonsrestaurantanddairybar.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Johnson’s Restaurant and Dairy Bar</a>&nbsp;– An old school place with a diner-style breakfast menu. They offer counter service and outdoor seating when it’s nice out. 1 mile from The Groton Inn.<a href="https://www.facebook.com/littletowncoffee/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">LittleTown&nbsp;Coffee</a>&nbsp;– Venture a bit further down Route 119 (10-minute drive from The Groton Inn) to Theo’s Market Gardens, where LittleTown&nbsp;Coffee’s adorable coffee trailer is parked on Friday and Saturday mornings. Definitely check their Facebook or Instagram before venturing down there as the operating hours can vary.&nbsp; Lunch and dinner<a href="https://www.filhoscucina.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Filho’s Cucina</a>&nbsp;– Another short walk from The Groton Inn, Filho’s is our favorite place for Italian in the area. Delicious pasta dishes, solid sandwiches, and specials that include seafood and wood-fired pizza. They’re also BYOB, so you can grab a bottle of wine from the shop next door. Seating is limited for eating in, though.<a href="https://forgeandvine.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Forge &amp; Vine</a>&nbsp;– A beautiful spot with a fantastic bar, a consistently delicious menu, and a gorgeous setting to have a glass of wine outside. They also apparently have live music on Thursday nights. And of course, it sits right behind the inn!<a href="https://www.luciastavola.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Lucia’s Tavola</a>&nbsp;– Lucia’s in Ayer is a great in-between meeting spot for those staying in Devens and at The Groton Inn. Fresh ingredients, unique appetizers (like fried olives), and a wonderful wine list. Suggest making a reservation since it’s on the smaller side.&nbsp; Farms, ice cream, and more<a href="https://kimballfarm.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Kimball Farm</a>&nbsp;– Kimball’s in Westford is open for the season! They make their own ice cream onsite and have become one of the most famous ice cream stands in the state. In addition to that, they have mini golf, bumper boats, batting cages, bumper cars. The country store is adorable, too, with nice souvenirs and a café that serves homemade muffins and cinnamon rolls, breakfast, and lunch.<a href="https://www.springbrookfarmcountry.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Spring Brook Farm Country Store</a>&nbsp;– Our favorite farmstand in the area. This is a great spot to pick up local goods like maple syrup, honey, and jam, plus they have excellent scones, pies, and cookies made daily at their onsite bakery. There’s also a greenhouse attached to the country store that sells beautiful gifts and diningware.<a href="https://www.mass.gov/locations/great-brook-farm-state-park" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Great Brook Farm State Park</a>&nbsp;– This is a farther drive, about 20 minutes away in Carlisle, but a lovely property perfect for an easy hike and picnic. It’s a working dairy farm, so you can say hi to the animals and then grab some ice cream.&nbsp; Breweries<a href="https://dirigiblebrewing.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Dirigible Brewing Co</a>&nbsp;– The lone microbrewery in the Groton/Littleton/Westford area, they have reliably tasty beers that are a nice mix of their flagship and year-round brews plus seasonal and experimental offerings. Check their Facebook page for info on live music and food trucks!<a href="https://www.spyglassbrewing.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Spyglass Brewing Company</a>&nbsp;– For guests who are into beer and don’t mind a drive up to Nashua, NH, this is one of the best breweries in New England. Excellent beers—everything from juicy IPAs to creamy sours—with a solid food menu. They moved into a brand-new space a couple years ago that has tons of seating indoors and outdoors.&nbsp; Hiking spots<a href="https://www.atlasobscura.com/places/bancroft-castle" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Bancroft’s Castle</a>&nbsp;– This old castle sits atop Gibbet Hill. The view is beautiful, good for photo ops, and it’s a pretty easy walk up there.&nbsp;<a href="https://littletonconservationtrust.org/property/prouty-woods/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Prouty Woods</a>&nbsp;– A popular spot for dog walking, this pretty woodland has trails that run along Long Lake in Littleton. An idyllic spot that’s about 15 minutes from The Groton Inn.<a href="https://westfordconservationtrust.org/tws_holding/stone-arch-trail/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Stone Arch Trail</a>&nbsp;– A favorite hiking spot in nearby Westford, this flat trail runs along old railroad tracks and is known for bird watching.&nbsp; Other nearby areas to check outConcord Center – A 30-minute drive away, Concord Center is a great spot to walk around and window shop. Can’t miss spots:&nbsp;<a href="http://myhautecoffee.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Haute Coffee</a>,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.concordcheeseshop.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">The Concord Cheese Shop</a>,&nbsp;<a href="https://nestingconcord.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Nesting</a>, and&nbsp;<a href="https://www.concordbookshop.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">The Concord Bookshop</a>.Bolton – About 25 minutes away from Groton is the beautiful town of Bolton. Their claim to fame is&nbsp;<a href="https://nashobawinery.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Nashoba Valley Winery</a>. While the wine doesn’t exactly compare to Napa, the property is beautiful, and they have a lovely tasting room. There’s a really great café called&nbsp;<a href="https://www.boltonbean.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Bolton Bean</a>&nbsp;with fantastic food and coffee, and a bit further down the road, you can check out&nbsp;<a href="https://boltonorchards.co/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Bolton Orchards’ farm market</a>&nbsp;which has coffee and cider donuts, a deli, and ice cream stand.
