Our Wedding

It was a beautiful October night, when we first met at the Thai Kitchen in Bethlehem, PA. We had no idea that this first date would lead to something so amazing. As I watched her cross the street I inexplicably knew my life would never be the same. Over the next few hours, as we shared our Pad Thai and a pitcher of beer, we traded stories about ourselves and our families. We looked across the table and knew there was a magical connection. As our relationship evolved over time, every conversation revealed more things that we had in common. We began to see how close in proximity we'd been over the years, it seemed that, unbeknownst to us, the universe had been guiding us to each other all along. We frequented the same watering holes, were at the same concerts and lived close to one another. Practically living separate but parallel lives until the fateful night when our paths finally crossed. Today we stand together, looking forward to what the future holds for us. We are incredibly excited to begin this adventure in the presence of all the amazing people who have touched our lives and helped shape us into the people we have now become. We are eternally grateful and look forward to celebrating the occasion as we embark on this next step of our incredible journey together.

Hillary is Jen's closest friend. Having met at Grand Valley State University, these two have shared some amazing memories. Hillary is someone Jen can always count on, whether it's for a listening ear or a night out on the town.

Heather is the sister of the bride. This lady knows how to bring the silly side out in Jen and is always good for a laugh. Jen &amp; Jeremy are thrilled to have her be a part of their big day.

Krystal is the sister of the groom. Krystal has become a great friend of Jen's and has been an amazing help in the wedding planning process.

Danica is Jen's oldest friend. These two met while working at McDonalds during their high school years. Regardless of the time between seeing one another these two always pick up as if no time has passed.

Candi and Jen met while living in the dorms at Grand Valley. They've long since bonded over their interest in personal growth and exploration. Candi is always there for Jen if she's in need of a chat.

Garrett and I met in the summer of 99.  I pretended to be a roadie so i could tag along on a 3 day tour with his band at the time.  That weekend has become the stuff of legend that has not been topped in 16 years.  But there's still time...

Mike was in the band with Garrett, he served the best black cherry out of the trunk of his giant boat of a car plastered with band stickers.  Since that tour our adventures have been too many to count, with even more to come...

I believe the first time I met Graydon was as his older brother Ron was beating him up in their families living room as happens from time to time with brothers.  I spent so much time during high school at their house they were like my second family.  I have proudly stood by Graydons and Rons side at their weddings, and am happy to have him representing the whole Kamp family at mine.

Shaun and I have known each other ever since our days in the Whitehall Band .  He is one of the people responsible for opening my eyes musically and have enjoyed so many concerts, road trips and general shenanigans my brain hurts recalling them all.  This includes the legendary tour that has previously been mentioned.

We have 14 king suites (89.99 per night plus tax) and 6 double queen suites (109.99 per night plus tax) reserved for Friday June 12th and Saturday June 13th. Please call and ask for Spencer/Heilman Wedding Block when reserving a room. Reservations must be made before May 12, 2015 to get the blocked room rate. This hotel includes a free hot breakfast buffet.

Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham

Please plan to stay at the Hawthorne Suites and party with us after the reception on the Tijuana Taxi! We ask that those who'd like to partake return to the hotel after the ceremony and carpool with others to the reception site. After the reception we will get on the bus and head to the 1760 Pub for some more cocktails. The bus will drop us off at the hotel at the end of the night. The next morning we'll coordinate rides to pick up any remaining vehicles at The Waterfalls.
