Thank God for the internet... because without it, we would have never met. Tyler was living in West Houston, and I&nbsp;was in Pasadena, over an hour away from each other. I ran into him on a dating app and thought it was so cool that he worked for the Skeeters!&nbsp;So I&nbsp;struck up a conversation. We hit it off immediately and texted for nearly a week. Then the boy disappeared for almost a year.&nbsp;One morning I was driving to work, and he answered a question via text that I&nbsp;had asked the last day we stopped talking... 10 months before. It's funny how things work out. We always talk about how, had we met 10 months before, we might have hated one another. We might have been in such different places in our lives that it would have never worked. We both agree that that's how it needed to be, though I still give him a hard time about it pretty regularly. 

Our first date, the Astros and Rangers were both in the elimination game for their respective division championship games. We had planned on meeting at Buffalo Wild Wings so that we could watch the games. But&nbsp;Tyler being Tyler, didn't want to&nbsp;miss an inning (or a pitch for that matter) of the Rangers game.&nbsp;I&nbsp;told him not to worry, that&nbsp;I'd just watch the game and he could&nbsp;come by as soon as it was over. He told me later that this is how he knew I&nbsp;was a keeper. The Rangers lost, so he made his way over. We sat and commiserated about our teams making it so close, and then&nbsp;not being able to do it&nbsp;all. We talked for several hours, and &nbsp;&nbsp;watched the Astros loose as well.&nbsp;I don't know how I&nbsp;feel about love at first sight, but I&nbsp;do know, that after that night, he was all I&nbsp;ever wanted. 

We've had a lot happen since then. He's decided he likes my cat. We got our pupper Trooper. We moved in together in Sugar Land and are making a nice little life together. An now, we're going to get married, and God willing, make a whole bunch of little Stamms. Tyler is adamant that I will be a #BoyMom... but we'll see.

How It All Got Started (From Her Point of View)

Anyone who knows us well, knows that we obsess about two things:&nbsp;our dog Trooper and&nbsp;couch time as we call it. So when it came time to ask me to be his wife, there was no more perfect way to do it,&nbsp;than with the help of the pup, and in our home. We'd been together for two years, and were planning to celebrate just by staying at home, having a relaxing day with some couch time and Trooper time.&nbsp;That morning, Tyler decided it was THE time to get a new phone. Unbeknownst to me, this was just to get me out of the house for a few hours. He played it cool, and didn't lead on a thing. He was, however, very adamant to get back&nbsp;home&nbsp;for some reason.&nbsp;We finished up errands, grabbed some Pei Wei and headed home.I&nbsp;came into our dining room area and could see something on the wall in the kitchen where we keep Troop kenneled, so I walked in to see what it was. On the wall, Tyler had (through his friend Joe) put up all of our favorite pictures from throughout our relationship, as well as some Ring Pops (why Ring Pops you ask?&nbsp;I'll get to that in a minute), and a sign that said "Mom, can we keep him?" signed by Troop. You'd think by this point, I&nbsp;would have figured out what was happening, but no. I&nbsp;still had no idea. I&nbsp;turned to ask Tyler what the deal was, and that's where I saw him, down on one knee. He kept it simple and just said "Jennifer Irene Allen, will you marry me?" I&nbsp;of course said yes, and then cried for what seemed like an eternity. Not the cute, single tear kind of cry. No,&nbsp;it was a full on, sob fest. After a few minutes Tyler had to ask me if I&nbsp;wanted the ring, because I&nbsp;was still just sobbing uncontrollably and&nbsp;hugging him. After he asked, and we both stopped shaking, he got to explain to me what all he had to do to make everything work perfectly. This was my favorite part&nbsp;I think. He explained how he'd had the ring for over a month (before Harvey even) and was waiting for the right time. I'd always told Tyler that if he asked me with a Ring Pop, I'd always so yes, so hence the Ring Pops on the wall. He had even&nbsp;thought about asking me with a Ring Pop instead of the real deal. We sat and had a few minutes to process the whole&nbsp;we're now engaged thing, and&nbsp;he told me to go&nbsp;pack a bag because we were going to celebrate with my family.&nbsp;In typical Allen fashion, celebrating always happens at the dinner table with way too much food, and lots of laughs and love. This made the day extra special to me. This man couldn't have picked a better way. I&nbsp;guess&nbsp;he gets me pretty stinking well.

I&nbsp;know, I know. We have a HUGE&nbsp;wedding party. But when you're as&nbsp;lucky as Tyler and I are&nbsp;to have this many loving, caring, awesome&nbsp;people in your life, you just make it happen!&nbsp;I've had the amazing&nbsp;privilege of&nbsp; being part of every one of these girl's&nbsp;weddings in some way, and now they get to be part of our's. It just seems fitting.&nbsp;

The GIANT Bridal Party

Sara and I met when we were both working at Marathon. She just decoded that we should be friends, and then all the sudden she was ALWAYS with me.&nbsp;She likes to refer to herself as my second mom, though she's only a few years&nbsp;older than me. She very vigorously interrogated Tyler on one of our first few dates. She approved. I&nbsp;can't say enough good things about this girl. Life has&nbsp;given her a lot of lemons, but she's running the best dang&nbsp;lemonade stand in the world if you ask me.&nbsp;

Sara

AKA, my middle sister. She's known me since birth (obviously) though she decided at the hospital the day I&nbsp;was born, that she didn't like "that baby",&nbsp; and that&nbsp;she wanted another baby. I&nbsp;guess my parent's went ahead and brought home the right one and she's learned to live with me since. :) We've run countless races together (she always wins) and done all of the sister things you could imagine. She's given&nbsp;me my favorite two things in the whole world; my niece and nephew.&nbsp;

Tiffany

Brittany and I&nbsp;met at Texas Tech and&nbsp;bonded over mutual dislike of a few geology professors. We've done just about everything together since then. She moved away to Florida a few years ago, so we have get-togethers every once in a while to catch up. She's getting married a month after Tyler and I in NOLA, so wish her well if you see her!&nbsp;

Brittany

Jackie got stuck with me somewhere around junior year of college. She was introduced to me by Brittany, and I&nbsp;decided to keep her. She's in Frisco now, and a glutton for punishment, so she went back to school. She's currently&nbsp;studying to be a nurse. She'll for sure be the nurse everyone wants to have taking care of them; smart, driven, and willing to give you the reality check you really need.&nbsp;

Jaclyn

My long-distance friend, Megs. She left the great state of Texas after college, so I&nbsp;haven't gotten to see her too much since then. But she's the kind of person that is just as good of a friend living with you, as she is 4 states away. Secretly, I've made her a bridesmaid so she HAS&nbsp;to come see me. It's been almost 4 years since I've gotten a Meg-han hug. She's such a beautiful person inside and out. I'm lucky to call her my friend.&nbsp;

Meghan

The all around bad ass friend. She's small in stature, but she can take everyone one of you. Kimberlee lives in the Panhandle, so I don't get to see her too often either. But much like Megs, we still keep up with each other. Kimberlee and I&nbsp;met at the same time Meghan and I met. We were grouped as pot-luck roommates my Sophomore year at Texas Tech. I'm so glad I picked their apartment!&nbsp;

Kimberlee

Goin'&nbsp;Band brought Em and I together. She was my favorite crazy mellophone player. Little did I&nbsp;know that 10 years later we'd still be such good friends. She's an amazing momma, and her super adorable&nbsp;son, Beckett, will be our ring bearer! Em ended up living with Meghan and I our junior year, and those two also became instant best friends.&nbsp;

Emily

I&nbsp;usually just refer to her as Cousin of mine. She's one of my favorites. She knows my crazy family, since it's her crazy family too! She's one of the most passionate people I&nbsp;know, and keeps pushing for the things she wants in life. She JUST&nbsp;got married in October, so be sure to congratulate her!&nbsp;

Tabitha

My little niece and one of my favorite human beings on this planet. She's already decided she'll put down exactly 6 petals before I&nbsp;come walking down the aisle. No more, no less.&nbsp;I can't imagine my life without this little girl. She's 4 going on 18, and you will probably leave a little bit smarter for having had a conversation with&nbsp;her. She's the light of my life.&nbsp;

Abigail

Emma is just too cute!&nbsp;She loves to dance and is a gymnast as well! Emma is the daughter of Todd (groomsman)&nbsp;and Daniela. She's pretty stoked about being the flower girl with her friend Abigail!&nbsp;

Emma

This kiddo is sure to give us some laughs the day of. He's the 3 (going on 4)&nbsp;year old son of Emily and Jacob, and a fireball if I've ever seen one. Most of the time he can be found rocking Spider-man shoes. There's no guarantee he won't actually be wearing them in the wedding.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Beckett

Christina is my oldest sister. She's a passionate believer in Christ, and devotes most of her extra time to ministry. She's the high school teacher that is so hard to find nowadays. She's believes in her students and does everything in her power to help them succeed. She fiercely believes in Tyler and I as well, so we&nbsp;couldn't think of a better person to marry us.&nbsp;
