Our Wedding

Logan was born on July 11th, 1998 in California, MO. It was there he grew up with his parents and older brother. Logan was quite the busy kid growing up, especially when it came to sports. He played on a travel baseball team, as well as the California grade school and highschool football teams, GO PINTOS! He also was a part of his schools' band where he played the trumpet. This is where he found his love for music. Logan was surrounded by all of his buddies in his neighborhood, and has tons of memories to hold onto from his childhood. When he was a sophmore in highschool, Logan's dad got a job offer in Texas. Because of this, his family moved to Missouri City, Texas (how funny!). It was tough to say goodbye to his hometown, however Logan was surrounded by his family at his new home. He spent the rest of his high school years at Ridge Point High School, and was able to meet and make new friends. Logan joined the military when he was in high school through the ROTC program. He served his country for a total of 6 years in the army reserves as an 88MIKE. Logan also went to college in Texas and got a Certification in Welding. Logan never forgot about his hometown!On May 22nd, 2019, Logan packed up his things in Texas and moved to Jefferson City, Missouri. This was also the night of the tornado that destroyed half of Jefferson City! HOW CRAZY!!! His parents had already moved back as well, so everyone was safe and sound that night. He still travels back and forth between the two states, as he should, and keeps making more and more memories with all of his friends and family.

Logan's Story 

Jennifer was born on November 12th, 2000 in Jefferson City, MO. It was there she grew up with her parents and four siblings. If you know the Szumigala's, then you know that they are quite the big and busy family. Jennifer was constantly involved in something! She tried many different sports growing up, but fell in love with soccer. She played on a travel soccer team, as well as Helias Catholic High School's soccer team, GO CRUSADERS! Jennifer also took piano and voice lessons throughout the years, as well as played the clarinet in grade school and was a part of her high school's choir. She loved being involved in her schools' plays, her favorite being Aladdin in 8th grade where she played the part of Jasmine. Jennifer was always hanging out with her friends and has tons of memories to hold onto from her childhood. A big part of Jennifer's childhood was her mom's daycare center, Susie's Stay-n-Play Daycare. She grew up as a part of that family and fell in love with taking care of kids. She enjoyed everything from doing crafts and dance parties to feeding little babies and patting them to sleep. She will always have the memories from that place, as well as the lessons learned. Jennifer graduated high school in May 2019, then attended State Technical College of Missouri. There, she graduated in August 2021 with an Associate's degree in Applied Sciences and a Certification in Physical Therapy Assistant. She is living life to the fullest and couldn't ask for anything more.

Jennifer's Story

May 22nd, 2019 It was just like any other day. Jennifer had just graduated from high school, living out her best summer before heading off the college that August. Logan on the other hand was packing up and getting ready to move back to his hometown. Little did both of them know that a tornado was coming to destroy their favorite town. Logan got home hours before the tornado blew threw. They both were safe and sound with their families and made it through the night. For the next few days, they would both go through their normal days, never knowing that their lives were about to change. May 31st, 2019 When you graduate from high school, you get invited to a lot of graduation parties. Jennifer had plans to go to a graduation party this night. She headed off to her friend's house to get ready for the evening ahead of her. She was so excited to get to hang out and have a good time, not knowing she was going to meet some new friends. Since Logan was back in his hometown, he was invited to a party as well. All of his hometown buddies were going to be there that he hadn't seen in 5 years. He was very excited to get to hang out and have a good time with all of them. Little did he know he was going to meet some new friends as well. Jennifer was the designated driver for the evening, but she didn't mind because she knew it would be a fun time either way. When her and her friends arrived, she was introduced to a lot of new people...one of them being Logan. She remembered thinking to herself "He's kinda cute!". She made her way outside of the party to get some fresh air with her friends. From there, her and her friends were all just hanging out and having a good time. When Logan arrived to the party, his friends were so excited to sees him that they hooked him up with his favorite booze. Let the party begin!!! After hanging out for a while, he ran into a group of girls who were being introduced to his best friend. He saw Jennifer in the group...did a double take and couldn't believe how pretty she was. He noticed that her and her friend group walk outside, and decides to join them outside too. Jennifer noticed Logan coming outside to join her friend group. No big deal right? Everyone was laughing and having a good time, especially these two. After a while, Jennifer noticed that her and Logan were the only two left sitting outside. They began to get to know each other and had a great conversation. Then she began to notice that her friends were around the corner making lovey dovey faces at her. After she had enough of that, she notices that it was getting late into the evening anyway. They thank each other for the nice time they spent together, and then lean in for the "awkward hug". That night, Jennifer could not stop thinking of this new, cute guy she just met. Ladies, what do you do when you can't stop thinking about a guy? You stalk him! Jennifer found Logan on Instagram that very night, and requested to follow him. June 1st, 2019 Logan woke up the morning wondering why his head hurt so bad. He saw a request on Instagram from some girl. He went to her profile and saw that it was the same girl from the night before! He accepted her request on Instagram, not knowing that she would soon send him a friendly message. Jennifer reached out to Logan on Instagram, simply saying "Hey!" Internall, she is freaking out thinking all of the negative outcomes, but he messaged her back. They talked on Instagram for most of the day. He then sent the message she was waiting for, "do you want to hang out tonight?" She obviously said yes! So, they made plans to meet at Memorial Park in Jefferson City, MO. At first, they were nervous, but as the evening went on, they became more comfortable around one another. They rode on scooters in the park first, which was a BLAST. Then they sat on the swings and continued to talk. Once the sun began to go down, they continued their conversation in Logan's car. They talked for a few more hours, both beginning to feel that this was the start to an amazing friendship! It was the best night ever! Little did they know that they would begin to fall for one another...and just like that they began dating a couple of months later. And The Rest Is History!

Our wedding date is SO special that it is being shared with Lincoln University in Jefferson City, as it is the university's 100th year homecoming!The homecoming celebration will be October 26th-November 1st. We ask that you please make travelling arrangements if need to as quickly as possible, as the hotels around Jefferson City having been booking up that week. The capital building, located right off of the Missouri River, is quite the popular spot. It contains a museum of the state's history inside, as well as statues and monuments surrounding the building.

If you like learning about history, as well as hearing some spooky stories then this is the place for you!This prison offers day time and night time tours, ranging from just history to interviewing former inmates to ghost tours. Capital Escape

A place for just about everyone! Strikes is a bowling alley that also has arcade games, simulators, pool tables, and a bar &amp; grill. This is a great place to hang out with friends and family!They take walk-ins, and call-in or website reservations for bowling, as well as tables and parties.
