Dave and Jenni met in early 2019 at Starbucks, where else? They quickly discovered that not only did they have numerous friends in common, but they also had many other connections in common. Both Dave and Jenn went to Briercrest Bible College at the same time, although neither remembers each other. We suspect either Dave or Jenn must have been unimpressive at that time (Jenn suspects it was Dave Lol).

In addition, Dave’s and Jenn’s children went to Briercrest in overlapping years. Jenn’s son-in-law Jesse even played hockey with Dave’s son Mike. What a small world! Dave and Jenni are grateful to share a very similar worldview. Both are grateful to have a relationship with Jesus and the desire to make him central in their lives. Both love their families deeply and both have that weird, quirky sense of humour that they both enjoy so much. They are both active, energetic people who embrace life whole-heartedly.

Dave and Jenni are entering this relationship knowing that this is their second chance at Forever. While neither regrets the past that brought them each three beautiful and successful children, numerous grandchildren and all the beautiful moments that that entails, they are both so grateful to find a new peace, a new forever love, and a new best friend.

God has been an incredible comfort and they look forward to His ongoing direction in their lives. They hold onto the promise that God makes all things work together for good for those who love Him. And they are looking forward to embracing that truth in their future, in their love, and in their interactions with friends and family as a couple.
