Q + A

What is the dress code?

The dress code is cocktail to black tie formal. This means that cocktail dresses, suits, dress shirts and pants, gowns, and tuxes are all among the attire welcome! Please refrain from wearing the color white as well as jeans, leggings, t-shirts, sneakers, work boots and crocs. Please feel free to bring a pair of sandals or flats to change into on the dancefloor! It is recommended you bring a sweater or small jacket, as there is a chance the ceremony will be held outside if weather permits. Though not mandatory, we invite you to wear your favorite spring colors to help us celebrate our early spring wedding!

What time is the ceremony?

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm. To avoid being late and missing it, it is recommended you arrive 15-30 minutes prior to ceremony time. Whether held inside or outside, the doors will close at the start of the ceremony, meaning anyone who is late will not be able to attend.

Can I use my phone during the ceremony?

Our ceremony will be an "unplugged" ceremony. This means that during the ceremony, we are asking that all phones are silenced/off and put away. We kindly ask that no pictures are taken during the ceremony other than by our photographer to assure that all guests are 100% present with us during this time. Anyone who is seen with a phone out during the ceremony will kindly be asked by event staff to put it away. Please feel free to use your phone as much as you'd like before and after the ceremony!

Are my kids allowed?

Though we love your little ones, we have decided that our wedding will be an adult only event. Due to the location of the event and our decision to host an open bar, the setting does not seem appropriate for littles. Other than the two ring bearers in our wedding, our wedding is 21+ only.

Do I get a plus one?

Plus ones will be specifically indicated in the envelope with the formal invitation and rsvp card. Due to limited capacity, we cannot accommodate plus ones for every guest. Please refer to your rsvp cards to determine how many seats we are reserving for you. If any questions or confusion arise, or you believe a mistake was made, please feel free to contact us at any time.

Can I spend the night at the venue if needed?

YES! We are hosting our wedding and reception at a hotel. We have reserved a block of discounted hotel rooms for any guests who need/want one. Discounted hotel rooms are available for both Friday and Saturday night. If you would like to book a room, please refer to the "travel" portion of this website or text Jenn directly to get the link to do so. Reservations may also be made via phone, just make sure to mention the West/Schuck wedding for the discount! All rooms are first come first serve.
