What is the attire?
Formal attire.
We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Dress code is formal attire. Ladies can wear floor-length or tea-length dresses. Gentlemen can wear a suit and tie. No dirty jeans or cream colors please.
Where is the wedding taking place?
The ceremony and the reception will be at the same place, the Gatsby, 5311 NY-5, Vernon, NY 13476
What weather should I expect?
It's central NY, and as much as we love our sun, we do not see it often. If we have inclement weather, the ceremony will be held inside. Plan for fall type temperatures.
What should I expect after the ceremony?
After the ceremony, the immediate family of the couple will be taking pictures for around an hour. Guests can go inside to the reception where snacks and drinks will be flowing. Dinner will be served around 6 pm, with dancing to follow. After the party we will be headed to Turning Stone with whoever wants to go to continue the party.
Will transportation be provided? Is there easy parking at the venue?
There will be a shuttle available at the end of the night to Turningstone Casino.
There's ample parking at the Venue, you can leave your car overnight.
How do I RSVP?
Go to the RSVP tab on the top of the page, and fill out the questions. Please get us your RSVP by August 12th, so we can get enough food.
Can I bring my partner?
We are at capacity with our venue which means we are sadly unable to accommodate additional guests. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If you have any questions, please reach out.
What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?
We’ll be serving light snacks during cocktail hour, followed by a delicious dinner, and of course dessert.
Will there be an open bar?
Of course! We want the night to celebrate with our friends and family. Open bar till 10pm, cash bar afterwards.
Are you registered? Where should we ship your gift?
We are registered a few places, you can find the details on our Registry page: https://www.theknot.com/us/jennifer-yanez-and-daniel-lacombe-aug-2024/registry
Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?
We love photos! We do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, we’d like that time to be unplugged. We are paying a photographer good money to take pictures, so we do not need your cell phone pictures of the ceremony.
Will the bride/groom be changing his/her name?
No, we will not be changing our names.
