Out to spend the evening out with an old friend, Jenny was up in Wausau visiting her friend Sera for dinner and drinks. While waiting for dinner at the Red Eye Brewing Company, Sera asked Jenny if her friend Craig could come out and meet them. Little did Jenny know, she'd end up spending the night talking with Craig more than her friend Sera!

Craig and Jenny proceeded to chat over text and such for a while before they finally went out for their first date for dinner at Guu's on Main in Stevens Point, WI followed by a few fun games of pool at Big Hunchies Roadhouse. Of course Jenny embarrassed Craig and whipped his butt in pool!

Jenny was spending a long weekend at her parents house in Port Edwards for their annual garage sale. Craig came Friday morning to join in on the fun. Being distracted by her sneaky sister in law doing her nails that morning, she finally came out in the afternoon help with the sale.

Just before 1:00 p.m. she received picture messages from a few friends, each sending one per minute spelling out: ARE YOU READY?! GO FIND CRAIG! Jenny walked around the back of the house to find Craig down on one knee with her doggie, Sophia, sitting patiently with him.

He asked for her hand in marriage and the surprises didn't stop there! Her friend from Texas secretly extended her trip to stay to celebrate, Craig and Jenny's parents planned for a few close friends and family to celebrate with a wonderful engagement party for that night, which included food, champagne, outfits to dress up (because who plans party dresses for garage sale weekends?), oh and one last surprise, an engagement photo session the very next day with their wonderfully talented photographer friend!

Craig couldn't have done a better job planning the whole thing and it was everything she had hoped for that special day and so much more! What a great way to start your engagement, but with family, friends and a great party to celebrate it all!

Of course she said yes and hasn't stopped staring at that beautiful ring since!
