Hello Friends and Family! We are J&J, Joey and Jenny. Our love story began in 2017, during an eventful brunch in Washington, D.C., with a mutual friend. What started as a casual gathering blossomed into a beautiful friendship that eventually transformed into something much deeper.

As we spent time together, we explored the charming streets of Georgetown, cheered for the Washington Wizards at basketball games, and discovered delicious new restaurants. Each outing was a new adventure, filled with laughter and delightful conversations that brought us closer together.

Jenny, who grew up in a small town in Pennsylvania, often reminisced about the limited experiences of her childhood. In contrast, I was raised in the vibrant culture of the Philippines before moving to D.C. Despite our different backgrounds, we found common ground in our dreams, aspirations, and love for food.

In 2018, our paths took a twist when I moved to Florida to pursue my lifelong dream of working for NASA. The distance was challenging, but it only strengthened our bond. Over the next five years, we navigated the trials of the long-distance relationship, constantly finding ways to stay connected, to support each other, and to keep our dreams alive.

Finally, on a hazy morning in West Palm Beach, I mustered up the courage to propose to Jenny. We have always enjoyed waking up before the crack of dawn to watch a beautiful sunrise. As we got to the beach, the horizon was not a perfect sunrise--it was cloudy and overcast and you can barely see the sky. It was not an ideal instagram moment, but it was fitting for the occasion. I got down to one knee and promised that I would always be with her even in bleak times like this. Luckily, she said yes.

Now, as we embark on this new chapter together, we are filled with excitement and anticipation for the journey that lies ahead. We are Joey and Jenny—two hearts entwined, ready to take-off and create a lifetime of memories together.
