Carson and Jenny met the Fall of 2015 at Six Flags in St. Louis when they were Juniors in high school. They were going with a group of Jenny’s friends from Visitation Academy and Carson’s friends from St. Louis University High (who were also Jenny’s friends from grade school at St. Clare of Assisi). Carson conquered his fear of rollercoasters to sit next to Jenny.

Since then, Jenny and Carson were best friends throughout the rest of high school. They were always texting and hanging out together with their friends. Carson never failed to make Jenny laugh, and the time spent together was always special. Jenny asked Carson to the Viz/Priory Dance Senior Year. Jenny’s Mom and sister Sarah commented on Carson’s charm, but Jenny and Carson continued to claim they were best friends.

After goodbyes at Carson’s high school graduation party, Carson went off to the Naval Academy to attend Plebe summer. Jenny and Carson exchanged letters throughout that summer. Jenny went off to the University of Missouri. Go Tigers!

For the next few years, Carson and Jenny made sure to catch up in St. Louis every winter and summer break (typically at Bread Company) and continued to keep up over FaceTime and texts. Carson even made some fun trips to Mizzou to visit Jenny and their high school friends. Carson's mom and Jenny’s roommates knew there was something more all along. Carson’s sister Alex and her husband Willie were lucky enough to witness Carson and Jenny’s first kiss on New Year’s Eve 2020 at Alex’s apartment :)

On St. Patrick’s Day March 17, 2020, Carson asked Jenny to be his girlfriend. They were both home from college for the next several months at their family homes in St. Louis due to the pandemic. Their pandemic dates included a romantic dinner in Jenny’s driveway that Carson surprised her with.

In July of 2020, Carson went back Annapolis, Maryland to begin his last year at the Naval Academy, and Jenny went back to Columbia, Missouri to begin her first year of Veterinary Medicine School at Mizzou, and their 4 year long-distance relationship began.

After months of FaceTime calls, Jenny visited Carson 3 months later for the first time in Annapolis and met all of Carson’s best friends that grew to also become her friends. Carson and Jenny would continue to visit each other every chance possible throughout the next 4 years and meet in St. Louis for the holidays.

On May 28th, 2023, Carson proposed to Jenny under fireworks at his family’s country club Memorial Day Weekend party. Both of their families were present to celebrate and experience this once-in-a-lifetime moment together.

We are soo happy to find out we’ll be moving to Jacksonville, Florida!!! Carson will be continuing his aviation career flying the MH-60R helicopter based out of Jacksonville, Florida and will be given orders to move there from Pensacola later this spring. Jenny can’t wait to join Carson in Jacksonville later this summer after the wedding, begin working as a veterinarian there, and start our new life together!

We are completely overjoyed to be getting married and to celebrate with you! We could not be more excited for our next adventure in Jacksonville and to spend the rest of our lives together.
