Jenny and Nick’s story began at a coffee shop in Royal Oak, MI the spring of 2023. They quickly discovered a shared love for nature, and found they had a bucket list item in common: backpacking the John Muir Trail. Fast forward to August 2024, where Nick proposed to Jenny on Mt. Whitney–the highest point on the John Muir Trail (and highest peak in the lower 48 states).

Beyond their love for nature, Jenny and Nick care deeply for their relationships with family, friends, and God. In their spare time they enjoy playing in sports leagues, going to concerts, making home-cooked meals, attending church, and walking their dogs around the local parks looking for wildflowers and wildlife.
