Ed and Jenny have booked enough buses for all of the guests to get from Rochester to Holly and back. Even if you are not staying in Rochester, everyone is welcome to take the buses to and from the venue. Due to a lack of Ubers, cabs and Lyfts in Holly we recommend taking the bus back to Rochester where a safe ride home is much more accessible. There is also parking at the venue if you would prefer driving yourself.
What if I get thirsty on the bus ride in?
There will be plenty of cold drinks on all of the buses. Please keep in mind that the drinks cannot come off of the bus into the venue.
Where is a good place to get lunch in downtown Rochester before the wedding?
Paint Creek Tavern - A Jenny and Ed staple, perfect for a cold beer and some chicken fingers and fries (don't forget the honey).
Park 600 - We often enjoy Park 600 for brunch. Is it connected to the lobby of the Royal Park Hotel.
Pauls - Another amazing chicken fingers and fries location. This is more of a coney style and would be great for breakfast too.
Downtown Cafe - This is a small spot, so not great for large groups, but offers some great breakfast options and cute atmosphere.
Rochester Brunch House - If you are looking to start your day with a few mimosas, this is the place. It often has a wait so you may want to head over there early to get a spot before there is a long wait.
What is the best way to spend our morning in Rochester?
Rochester is a place Ed and Jenny love to walk. We recommend the Paint Creek Trail or the Clinton River Trail. You can grab a coffee at Bean and Leaf or some donuts at Knapps and enjoy the first official day of summer with a walk through town. The Rochester Farmers Market is also going on on Saturdays, a cute little destination to walk to!
