Our Wedding

<p class="ql-align-center">Our story begins 12-13 years ago at a happy hour at PJ Dorsey's Pub and Grill in gorgeous downtown Syracuse, New York. Jenny moved to Syracuse and started grad school in August 2012 after spending the summer in Australia. Shane had returned to Syracuse to work for his dad’s business in 2012. Jenny’s grad school friend and Shane’s high school friend had started talking at some point in 2012 or 2013. On our first night meeting, each of our friends had separately convinced us to tag along to a work happy hour at PJ Dorsey’s with some others. That night Shane and Jenny talked amongst friends, and he made her laugh. These friends of ours began dating eventually and as they started seeing each other much more regularly, so did we. By the summer of 2013, we started hanging out as ‘more than friends’. Our first weekend away together was in September 2013 for a friend’s annual wine tour on Cayuga Lake. The group was mostly established couples, a few single people, and us. From that point on, we acted like a couple. We categorized our situation as “talking” and spent a lot of our free time together, but didn’t start dating right away for fear of rushing into a relationship too soon. We went to NYC with friends to celebrate New Year’s Eve in 2013 and made things official right as the new year kicked off. In the fall of 2014, we started living together and got our baby, Apollo. We have continued laughing together since then and the rest is history.</p>
