Download the "Hyatt Inclusive Collection" app on your phone - This is my #1 recommendation for EVERYONE! Download it as soon as you can and search for "Dreams Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa". This is the best resource for anything related to our resort such as restaurant dress codes, dining hours & menus, resort activities & events, spa information, a hotel map, room service options, housekeeping requests, cabana reservations...the list goes on and on. Download it ASAP and start getting excited!

If you want a reservation for the Teppanyaki tables make the reservation through the app as soon as you can - As far as I know this is the only restaurant that requires a reservation, and they book way ahead of time. But again, the app would be a wonderful resource for this!

You can bring your own pool floats for the pools - Not only that, but the staff by the pool will blow them up for you.

The "VIP Services" associates in the lobby - If they are there, I've heard that they are part of the resort timeshare team. If they offer you anything at all - know it will be a hard sell and probably take a few hours. If you are not interested in a timeshare, I recommend politely declining.

Arrive at the airport early - The recommended time is 3 hours prior to departure for an international flight.

Checked luggage - Most pieces of luggage need to be under 50lbs, but check your airline for specific restrictions.

Bank cards/credit cards - Check with your financial institution to see if they need to be aware of your travel dates. This can help avoid any potential declines or card cancellations due to suspected fraud.

At the Cancun airport - Once you've cleared immigration and picked up your luggage, head directly outside of the airport. You will most likely pass people trying to get your attention for different things including transportation. Ignore them! Remember your airport transportation will already be arranged. I will send more information about that at a later date.

Throw a dryer sheet in your suitcase - it keeps your suitcase fresh and absorbs humidity.

Pack a Covid test - in case you get sick and want to rule it out. But no one is allowed to get sick! LOL

Add your flight details to our travel website! Go to https://www.barefootbridal.com/jennyderrick, click on "Book Your Stay", scroll all the way to the bottom and select "Flight Itinerary". This is how the travel agency will know when to send airport transportation for you!

The Rehearsal Party on Thursday night is a WHITE party. Please wear something white. Other than that, use your best judgment!

The wedding party colors are navy blue (men) and dark teal green (women).

Travel documents - like passport and copies of flight, hotel, and transportation reservations (the last two will be provided to you by Barefoot Bridal, the travel agency, about 10 days prior to departure).

Sunscreen, sunscreen, and more sunscreen. Seriously, you can't have too much! The sun is stronger in Cancun, and the sunscreen at the resort is VERY expensive!

Tip money - for transportation, cleaning crew, waitstaff, etc. Although it is an all-inclusive resort, the staff works hard and appreciates tips! US dollars are perfect. Stop by the bank before you leave and pick up small bills like $1s and $5s.
