Our journey started as high school sweethearts back in 2013. We met at Victory Church and were together for 3 great years. Although we were still very much in love, life circumstances forced us to part ways for 2 years during college. We both knew deep down that we were supposed to be together. We didn’t know how or when, but we knew.
After Jenny returned from a missions trip to Honduras with a new passion for youth ministry, things lined up just right so that we could both be at Victory again helping with the youth group. We had to find a way to work together. Almost immediately, on September 20th, 2018 we agreed to go to a 24 hour pancake place to catch up. We ended up talking for over 7 hours and by the end of the night, Justin said the boldest thing: "I want to marry you in 2 years."
While there was much catching up to do and many more things to work out, Jenny was on board with the idea and very shortly after that we began dating again. On our 1 year anniversary, we went on a beautiful walk through the vast Christmas light display at La Salette. When we came to a quiet, secluded place called the rose garden, Justin proposed. Before he could finish speaking, Jenny said yes!
Now, exactly 2 years later to the day, we will be getting married on September 20th, 2020!
