Somehow, it worked for us. Tim liked a photo of Jenny, and then it was meant to be. After messaging for almost two months, we had our first date at Mellow Mushroom in the Coral Ridge Mall, followed by watching the new Aladdin movie. We would go on some more dates including hikes, coffee shops, ice cream runs, and more movie watching. Almost 3 months later, we officially started dating.

COVID hit during our first year of dating, so we spent a lot of time driving to each other's apartments that were about an hour apart. With everything closed down and Jenny not teaching, we learned a lot about each other and had many chances for deep conversations. After things started opening back up and our lives went somewhat back to normal, we visited each other on weekends. On our 2nd Anniversary, we planned a trip to San Francisco, California. Unknown to Jenny, Tim planned to propose on the trip. On July 27th, 2021, we were walking along the Pier of San Francisco. Jenny wanted a good view for a Snapchat video, so she was panning the pier with her camera. When she was done and turned around, Tim was down on one knee. After the initial shock wore off, Jenny said yes!
