Yay! Welcome!
If you've made it to our page, it is because you are near and dear to our hearts. You've probably impacted our journey together or have a special place in our lives.
It is for that very reason we'd like to share our special day with you!
While we'd love to have everyone be there with us to celebrate, we know and understand that not everyone will be able to make it, and that's okay...we still love and appreciate you!
-Jenny & Joe
Joe and I met when we were just 16 & 17 years old. Though not right away and with some award-winning effort, Joe captured my entire heart. Although our story has been unconventional, it is a beautiful imperfection, I would relive over and over again if I could. We have really overcome a lot of odds and obstacles along the way and have found love in each other at different stages of our lives.
Having a wedding and formalizing our years together has always been the plan, and the time was never quite right. Our sense of urgency spanned just a few years ago, when we decided to stop attending separate churches and find our spirituality together. We were able to discover a strength unlike any other when we incorporated God into our relationship. We felt blessed for all that we'd been through and all that we had. However, we learned that our love had to be formalized into marriage, as it is a holy covenant to God and a spiritual representation of our relationship with Him.
During our time together, we have lots to celebrate...
We've learned that our love is bigger than our problems.
We've found God together.
We've learned how to be parents.
We've found love, like family, in our sisters, brothers, mothers, fathers, cousins, aunt and uncle-in-laws, together.
We've learned to love one another like we have no tomorrow.
We've found forgiveness through our darkest of times.
We've learned to appreciate life and everyone we have in it.
We've found that despite our journey, life can turn out to be beautiful.
