Yes. Yes, we did. And when you arrive at Riverside, you will understand why. That said, Summer Fridays in the DC area are lovely, but traffic is H-E-Double Hockey Sticks, and getting to Riverside and/or your hotel will be going with the traffic during rush hour. Whatever your GPS says when you leave your house, add time. Check-in at most hotels is around 3. You should not feel comfortable arriving at your hotel at 3, checking in, then showering up and dressing, if you want to make it to Riverside in time. Our room block includes some Thursday check-ins, and we can probably add to that if necessary.

Cocktail attire. Ties are optional for men, unless Josh tells you otherwise. No running/athletic shoes or white dresses please. There is a bit of walking from the ceremony to the reception on gravel and some stone, and plenty of pretty grassy areas, so please consider block heels, and/or bring a pair of flats or slip-ons for the walk up to the buildings, and for the dance floor. Assistance will be available for those with mobility issues.

Our wonderful friends, the Meyers family, has graciously offered to host a post-wedding brunch on Saturday 6/29 12p-3p. Please RSVP if you're coming and how many by NLT 6/19 10p. The Meyers family home is located at 9500 Spode Ct., Fairfax, VA.

You can totally drive there. There’s tons of parking. Unless… you plan to imbibe (beverages will be plentiful!). If so, please feel free to Uber/Lyft, but be sure to pre-arrange your return trip. For those of you staying at Lansdowne resort - there will be transportation between Lansdowne and our Venue! Details to follow.
