After talking since March, we met for a driveway date on May 2, 2020-- when the world was shut down. With nowhere to go, we learned to get to know each other by having cooking dates and movies every weekend. I turned Josh into a true Texas Longhorn fan and I root for the Kansas City Chiefs on Sundays. We found out that we were a pretty good team with what the world was throwing at us--and there was a lot being thrown! Josh proposed on my birthday celebration (June 8th) with my mom and dad and some of my dearest friends around. It was perfect.
