Jake and Jenny were always in the same friend group throughout their time at Penn State. It wasn't until Jenny's junior year and Jake's senior year that they realized it might be more than a friendship. After half a year of figuring out if it would be something more, Jake asked Jenny to be his girlfriend in May 2019 after a sushi date at Dining Under the Stars in Media!

In between weekly flights to Texas for work, Jake made a lot of visits up to Penn State in the next year to visit Jenny. He would walk into the Phyrst feeling like a millionaire! As a couple, they did an amazing job with making it through long distance while Jake was working and Jenny was still in school.

Jenny's senior year at Penn State was cut short by covid and she had a quarantine graduation at home. The plus side to quarantine was Jake and jenny were able to spend so much time together now!

Jake had a Halloween get together with his roommates amidst the pandemic, and they had a lot of fun with that!

Jenny graduated nursing school in 2021. It was a very difficult year, and Jake was there supporting her every minute of it <3.

Jake's brother Alex married Kerri in May 2022 and Jake was the best man, it was the most beautiful day!

Jake and Jenny moved in together and rent a home in grad hospital! They love their home so much, and love having human and dog friends over to enjoy it to.

Jake and Jenny celebrated four years together by vacationing in Jamaica. It was such a gorgeous trip and they had the best time (even with the sunburn)!

This was the day before Jake proposed to Jenny. Jenny had been living in a state of anxiety for about 3 months now because she was anticipating that Jake would propose soon. This was a stressful day for Jake because we were with all of our friends and he was worried one of them would spoil the surprise!

Jake proposed on Sunday May 19, 2024. Jenny thought they were going out to dinner, but when they were "late for their reservation," he took her to a nearby park and made a beautiful speech and then proceeded to pop the question.

Jake had another surprise! After he proposed, we went to our favorite bar Ten Stone where all of our closest family and friends were waiting to celebrate with us. We truly love you all so much and can't wait to spend our wedding day with you all<3.
