Q + A

What time should I arrive?

Help us get the party started as scheduled! We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone is seated on time. The ceremony begins at 2:00 pm. The reception is from 5:00 pm - 10:30 pm.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Think cocktail dresses or a suit and tie or a sports coat.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony will be taking place indoors in a beautiful Catholic chapel. The reception will be held indoors, but there are outside areas you can access if you need some fresh air.

What happens after the ceremony?

After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception hall, where we will be serving hors d'oeuvres and beverages during cocktail hour.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

In September, the west coast state of California is warm and dry. The average highs are 82 degrees Fahrenheit with average lows of about 62 degrees.

Am I invited to the rehearsal dinner?

Due to the space limitations of our venue, we unfortunately have to limit the rehearsal dinner guest list to those who will be playing a role in the ceremony. We apologize in advance to those who are not included.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Please follow the signs to the chapel in the parking lot. It is a one-way flow so please be attentive to oncoming traffic. It is recommended to park in the back lot closer to the chapel. Parking is free!

Are kids welcome?

Absolutely! This is a whole family affair and we want to share in our happiness with your little ones! Please let us know the age of your child, any food allergies, and equipment needs. Additionally, we will have a playpen and lactation room with a hired caregiver in a private and secured room at the reception only.

Can I bring a plus one?

Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Thank you in advance for sending your RSVP before August 28, 2024. You can mail back the card enclosed in your invitation or simply RSVP right here on our wedding website.

Will there be food and drinks during cocktail hour?

After the wedding ceremony, we will be serving light-passed hors d’oeuvres accompanied by an open bar. We invite you to toast to our nuptials with a curated selection of wine, beer, and cocktails. The bar will be available from 5:30 PM-9:30 PM.

Will dinner be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Please come hungry! We will be serving plated food with your selection of either beef, chicken or fish, vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free at the reception. Please note any food allergies when you RSVP.

Where are you registered?

We know it's not traditional or the way it's usually done, but rather than a registry, we'd like a bit of fun! We have plenty of things to fill our house and make this place our home, so now we'd love to venture out, explore a new part of the world, and roam! If you'd like to give a gift to help us celebrate, something towards our honeymoon fund we would so appreciate!

Do you have any recommendations for where to eat, points of interest or things to do?

Yes! We recommend visiting the ‘Things to Do’ page of our wedding website, where we’ve compiled all of our favorite local hot spots and fun things to do in the area, including coffee shops, spas and restaurants to visit before or after the wedding.

I still have questions. What is the best way to contact you?

Please contact the maid of honor, Jeanette, for any questions you may have. Phone: (818) 319-8097 Email: Jeanieyyoon@gmail.com
