Ryan and Jensen went on their first date on September 4th, 2020 at Allegheny Grille in Foxburg, PA. A couple dates later and they officially started their relationship on January 19th, 2021. From there, Jensen finished up her masters program at Clarion University and moved to Dayton, Ohio to complete her SLP fellowship. Ryan moved to Cleveland, Ohio to continue his job. Due to being 3 hours away, they would alternate weekends to drive to each other on opposite sides of the state. After 9 months in Ohio, Ryan and Jensen decided to pack up their lives and move 600+ miles away to Chapin, South Carolina where they happily live with their dog Rocko. 



When planning to come back to PA to watch the Steelers vs Ravens game on October 8th, 2023 Ryan told Jensen they were going to breakfast the Saturday before the game (Oct 7th). After getting ready and driving for a bit, Ryan pulled up to Allegheny Grille and took Jensen out to the back patio where he proposed. After she happily said yes they had brunch and met up with the family for a surprise engagement party. The next day, everyone got to celebrate the engagement and watch the Steelers take home a win.
