Our Wedding

Our story didn't begin in a traditional way, but in a place that perfectly reflects a big part of who we are and what we love - playing video games...............................Out of all the servers, all the lobbies, and all of the random pairings that the internet could have thrown our way, we landed in the same one. What began as two strangers teaming up for fun quickly turned into nightly conversations, shared jokes, and the unmistakable feeling that we had stumbled into something special...............................We soon started talking in real life and eventually both agreed to a first date. Avery was living in New Hampshire at the time and Jeremiah in Connecticut, so we did the rational thing and met in the middle of Massachusetts. Our first date consisted of barhopping, Avery destroying Jeremiah in pool, and meaningful conversations; before we knew it, it was 8 hours later. From that moment on, we felt inseparable...............................As if fate inside a gaming lobby didn't seem like a big enough sign, Avery soon found herself with the job opportunity of a life time, coincidentally (again) 5 minutes from where Jeremiah was moving to as well, in Groton, CT. Once again, it felt as though God and every power in the Universe was telling us we had found something special...............................After dating for just under two years, Jeremiah got down on one knee on October 19th, 2025 at Devil's Hopyard in Connecticut. Standing together in front of the waterfall, he asked her to spend forever with him and it was the easiest yes she ever said...............................Now we can't wait to start the next chapter of our lives, surrounded by the people who have supported, loved, and laughed with us along the way.

Please also keep in mind there are other options in the area, so please feel free to select an option that works for you, even if it's not directly listed below.

This hotel is 5 minutes from the Ceremony location and about 20 minutes from the Reception location. They offer hot breakfast, free parking/wifi, a fitness center, indoor pool, and more.

Hampton Inn Groton

This hotel is right between both the Ceremony location at 10 minutes away and the Reception location at 15 minutes away. They offer free buffet/hot breakfast, fitness center, indoor pool, and on-site restaurant as well.

SpringHill Suites by Marriott Mystic Waterford

This location is between the Ceremony location at 10 minutes away and the Reception location at 15 minutes away. This hotel offers a fitness center, indoor heated pool, and an on-site restaurant (kids eat free).

Holiday Inn New London - Mystic Area by IHG

These adorable individual cottages are 20 minutes from the Ceremony location and 8 minutes from the Reception Location. They are like individual tiny homes with full kitchens, living rooms, and bedrooms.
