We met on New Year's Eve 2018 through a mutual friend. First-dates quickly turned into dating long-distance between Denver, CO and Fort Worth, TX.

We flew back and forth to see each other (thanks Spirit Airlines) and spent countless hours in between visits on FaceTime dates.

Later that year, we went on our fist international trip to Ireland! We navigated a new country (and a manual transmission car on the left side of the road) together and knew our relationship was going places.

In April 2019 we moved into our first apartment in Denver. We were so excited long distance was behind us, and to finally be in the same place together.

A year later, the pandemic hit and Jeremy supported Danielle while she worked in the hospital. In between episodes of Tiger King we learned to make pasta and navigate an uncertain world together.

We drove all of our belongings 30 hours across the country in a U-Haul when we moved to Boston together for Jeremy's new job. In a city across the county, in the middle of a pandemic, we overcame new challenges together: Like walking across the city for an AC unit from Facebook Marketplace when the one in our home was full of mold. And having to heat hot water on the stove in order to shower for the first two weeks of living in a fourth floor walk-up apartment.

And navigating working from home in 500 square feet while Danielle slept in a black-out curtain night shift room on the other side of the door. Despite our cramped apartment, Danielle got to know the city Jeremy went to college in and we made plenty of time to explore the east coast.

The following year we moved back to Colorado and it was good to be home!

We continued to travel far and wide. Jeremy joined Danielle's family on a trip to France where he spent two weeks laughing and eating fine food in true Sartini style.

We grew our family by adopting a cat named Chada - of course named after our favorite Thai restaurant. Chada's big personality and curious demeanor hooked us from the start.

We knew that we wanted to keep writing our love story, so Jeremy proposed to Danielle in Venice on a family trip to Italy.
