Jeremy noticed Victoria for the first time in their junior year at Temple University. He sat behind her in class but never worked up the courage to say hello. Lucky for him, not only did they both enroll in the therapeutic recreation program, but they both played rugby as well.

Fast forward to the fall of senior year. Jeremy was vice president of the men's rugby club, and Victoria the president of the women's. Jeremy knew of a premiership rugby match -Saracens vs the Newcastle falcons- that was coming up in Philadelphia; so, he decided to use that opportunity and make his first move via email and invite Victoria to the match. Victoria was charmed by the email, especially the way he signed off with a very British "cheers". She didn't have the slightest clue how deep his English roots ran; but this would become one of the things she absolutely loves about her husband-to-be.

Jeremy and Victoria graduated in 2018 and moved back home with their parents until they got their own apartment in September of 2021 on City Avenue in Philadelphia. On June 20, 2023 they bought their first house in Wyncote PA.

In October of 2023 Jeremy brought Victoria to one of his favorite places on the planet, Lake District, England. After six years of dating and dozens of responses of "there's a time and a place" when asked when they will be getting engaged, Victoria had a strong inclination that Jeremy was going to propose at some point on this trip.

After three days of extraordinary sights -and potential proposal locations- Jeremy took Victoria to the place closest to his heart. While looking out onto the quaintest lake in the town of Hawkshead, Jeremy asked Victoria to be his wife.
