There are 3 main airports that service New York City:
1) JFK - John F. Kennedy International Airport
2) LGA - LaGuardia Airport
3) EWR - Newark Liberty International Airport.
JFK & LGA are both closer in proximity to the Hamptons, making it easier and quicker to get to the Hamptons once you have landed. However, if flying into Newark is more optimal for you, don't worry! It is still possible to use public transportation to affordably get to the Hamptons.

Guests may want to consider renting a home in lieu of staying at a hotel. If you are planning on staying for a few days, Airbnb is a great platform to search for houses.
We recommend staying in Bridgehampton, Sag Harbor, East Hampton, Wainscott or Sagaponack.
When doing a search, keep in mind that some houses have a 3 night minimum and will not populate if searching for 2 nights.
The fastest way to arrive to the Hamptons is via Helicopter or Seaplane. There are regularly scheduled flights from Manhattan and sometimes from one of the airports as well. Of course, you can also charter your own if you would rather choose your own time!
If you are arriving by car or renting one when you land at one of the airports, it is very easy to drive out to the Hamptons. The time it takes to get there by car is highly variable. Without traffic, it typically takes approximately 90 minutes from JFK or LaGuardia airports, however, if you are driving on a Friday afternoon, it could easily take you an additional 60+ minutes.
