Jeremy and Allison first met during their freshman year at Notre Dame, thanks to a Halloween party hosted by their mutual friends, Gannat and Gana Mukhtar. What started as a fun night quickly became unforgettable — especially since, shortly after, all their friends ended up quarantined with COVID. With plenty of time to talk (and no parties to attend), Jeremy and Allison really got to know each other — and the rest is history. Over the years, their relationship grew stronger each semester. They visited each other’s families during school breaks, worked in South Bend after Sophomore summer, studied abroad together in London where they hiked Mont Blanc, and spent countless hours laughing (complaining) over (about) meals at the dining hall.On July 6, 2024, Jeremy proposed to Allison at his family’s cottage on Bruce Beach, overlooking the beautiful Lake Huron at sunset. Between Allison's excitement and Jeremy barely choking out the words, we are pretty sure Allison said yes! The two have since moved to Chicago, where they’re excited to start this next chapter together.

The resort has been fully reserved for the Friday and Saturday nights, the weekend of the wedding. Please contact the hotel directly to lock in your room, simply RSVP-ing will not secure your room! Discounted rates are being offered (room + breakfast), and the rate will be honored for the duration of your stay. Guests are welcome to stay any number of nights before or after the weekend's events for the same rate!

Travel

Renvyle House is located on the Renvyle Peninsula in Connemara, Co. Galway. The area has very limited taxi services and no public transport, so we recommend driving. For guests traveling within IrelandThe easiest option is to drive directly to Renvyle House. Carpooling with other guests may be helpful, as parking is available on-site. For guests traveling InternationallyYou can fly into either Shannon Airport or Dublin Airport.From Shannon Airport:Shannon is on the west coast, about a 2.5-hour drive to Renvyle House.You can rent a car at the airport, or take a bus to Galway and rent a car there.From Dublin Airport:Dublin is on the east coast, about a 3.5–4-hour drive to Renvyle House.You can rent a car at the airport, or take a train to Galway and rent a car there. We recommend renting a car, ideally shared with other guests to reduce costs. For drivers under 25, <a href="https://www.gocar.ie/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://www.gocar.ie</a> may be a useful option.
