We met at the height of the Covid pandemic. We were both in full quarantine and not living our normal schedule of life. If it hadn't been for this lock-down, we never would have met.

Jeremy was scrolling Facebook and was playing on the Twenty-one Pilots band page. He noticed someone had posted asking what their favorite song was from a certain album. He innocently replied out of boredom. It was Charline's post.

A few weeks later, they started chatting about the band, Harry Potter, and ukuleles. It was just a fun playful friendship in the middle of a global lock-down.

Not only was there an age difference, but they were separated by 3,500 miles and the Atlantic Ocean.

As it turned out, Jeremy was actually trying to help Charline ask out another guy that she had met. Over the course of the next few weeks, they started chatting daily- many times a day. Okay...all day long, but who's counting?

They both started feeling strong emotions until one day Jeremy blurted out "I love you". While they had both dated a few people before, this felt different to them. It was a love that they agreed had never felt as deep and serious.

After a year of video-chatting, countless messages, letters, and phone call, Jeremy finally flew to Belgium to meet her and her family. The connection was instant.

Over the course of the next two years, they would fly back and forth spending as much time together as they could. During one of Jeremy's trips to Brussels, they hiked through a forest by the famous Atomium. They had sat on a certain bench during his last visit and discussed life and love, and that's where he dropped to his knee and asked for her hand in marriage.

For over 20 years, Jeremy had been constantly dreaming of the numbers 926. Many thought these numbers were negative and Charline refused to believe that. She came up with the idea to get married on September 26th (9/26) and make these numbers into a positive thing.

To this day, the two of them are absolutely obsessed with each other. While many think it's strange to be so infatuated, they are like magnets and can't bear to be apart and agree they are the happiest that they've ever been.
