Jeremy and I met in early 2019 when I was working at Red Lobster in Cedar Rapids. We started hanging out with friends from work. We both started developing feelings over time and made things official on May 5th, 2019. We were making our favorite, homemade taco pizza, and margaritas in my apartment at Kirkwood when he asked me to be his girlfriend. After college, I decided I could really picture a life with Jeremy in Cedar Rapids, so we moved in together. Now, we still live in the same home with our fur babies, Panch, Moose, & Mimi!

I planned a dinner at Cedar Ridge Winery with some of our closest friends. I had lived in Cedar Rapids for 5.5 years and never been there, so I was really looking forward to going. After dinner, our server brought out the ring in a bowl of ice cream, and Jeremy got down on one knee in front of the live band. It was the sweetest moment neither of us will ever forget!
