To all those unbelievers that finding love at a young age doesn't last. We are here to tell you that sometimes it does.
Easton and I met in Junior High. He was an "older" boy (8th grade) and I was a 7th grader. I thought he looked like Carson Lueders, who was a popular singer at the time that ALL the girls had a crush on. So naturally since I thought Easton looked like him, I was crushing hard. Little did I know Easton also had a crush on me! We ended up "dating" which in 8th/7th grade meant we barely talked but maybe sent a few messages back and forth and saw each other at some basketball games. But we did hold hands once or twice. haha!! Somehow that Junior High fling ended and we really didn't talk for 2 years.
But in October of 2019, Easton was a Sophomore now and I was a Freshman. Easton messaged me asking me to hang out. My Mom took me to Easton's since I didn't quite have my license yet :) and we hung out. We started talking after that and on November 15, 2019, he asked me to be his girlfriend. From there we were pretty much inseparable. I remember Easton would come watch me cheer at the Freshman basketball games by himself because all his friends were at the JV game. He was a very dedicated boy friend.
That March Covid hit. We still tried to find time to hang out even when everything was shut down. That summer before school started we broke up for about a month. But in September, Easton asked me to Homecoming and we had a blast. That night we were in a car accident and it really brought us together. In October 2020, Easton again asked me to be his girlfriend and I said yes!
We dated the rest of high school. We went to all the dances together. I cheered him on at his football games, he cheered me on at all my cheer Competitions. We just enjoyed growing up together, side by side.
Easton graduated in 2022 and I still had one more year of High School. He still got dressed up and took me on a date for the school dances even though we actually did not go to the dance. He was still the best boyfriend. I graduated in 2023.
I immediately went to Esthetician school and now work and Rejuvenation Med Spa in Rigby. Easton has been working on his insurance licenses and is working with his Dad. He also works with Triple A Landscaping.
In August of 2023, Easton set up the best proposal. To say I was surprised was an understatement. He had contacted Kendra Sutton (whom I adore) and scheduled our proposal pictures. But he needed help in getting me there without a clue what was going to happen. So a plan was created. Kendra had messaged me asking me to model for some branding pictures about 2 months before the proposal date. She told me what kind of clothes she was looking for, to be in picture perfect makeup and such. Little did I know it was all a part of the plan they set up. When I met her in the parking lot it seemed like a normal shoot. She had taken my graduation pictures, so nothing seemed out of the ordinary. She started shooting pictures and we walked into a open area. I saw big light up letters saying "MARRY ME" I thought to myself, "Oh how cute, someone is getting engaged!" I still didn't see Easton. Then I saw him start to walk to me and I immediately started to cry. This was all for me! This was my proposal and it couldn't have been more perfect!
This last year planning the wedding has been so much fun. We are so happy to finally be married in July and cannot wait to share our Wedding Day with YOU!
