You have been my best friend since we met in 2001. Through some mutual friends in the community of Oregon State University, a new chapter of friendship began. If you understand anything about Jerry and his life, it sinks up well with both my positive and negative behaviors. Jerry was invited to shoot fireworks for the City of Albany, OR and help assist my team. Even though I didn’t know him well I knew then, after catching him on fire during the firework show that this guy is for real. Our friendship quickly grew from just doing stupid stuff like rafting, kayaking, duck hunting, fireworks, and OSU Sports (Go Beavs). Jerry, became part of my personal family and was the only non-family member at my daughters baby dedication. That is how much I think of him and appreciate him.

Jerry, is a true friend that is 100% “all in” to support his family and his friends. He has a protective spirit of all those around him and is always willing to think of others first. I have been blessed by his family and his positive support both spiritually in our common faith, his emotional guidance when I went through life changes, being an extra Uncle to my daughter, and being welcomed into his family. Jerry is truly my “brother from another mother.”

This last two years has been a very exciting time for me! To watch Jerry, finally meet the love of his life! SERIOUSLY, I’m so excited that Jerry met Amber and courted her until she finally said, “YES!” Talk about hitting it our of the park! Spending time with Jerry and Amber, is a whole new chapter in my life. I now have two best friends that I would do anything for. I get to watch and enjoy Jerry and Amber as a successful couple build their new future together. They are an amazing team together, and it is an absolute honor to be their friends and watch their life grow.
