We met on August 16th, 2022. Jesi was at the apartment she lived in at the time and I was in the car when she texted me and asked if I was free to go out. I pulled over right then and immediately replied I would come pick her up. We matched on Tinder a month earlier and hadn't been able to meet until that point. When Jesi invited me to go out, there was no way I would say no. Saying yes turned out to be the best decision possible, as we have now seen each other every day since then.

The day after we went on that date, Jesi was planning on going to Six Flags New England with a friend's son. Her car had a flat tire, so I happily offered to drive and go with them. I was thrilled to spend more time with her. While riding the roller coaster "The Joker," the electricity went out at the park and we were stuck, dangling in midair, and I thought that was as good a time as any to ask Jesi to be my girlfriend. I was so nervous that the only words I managed to say were "Do you want to be, like... more than friends?" She said yes and we gave it a shot. The best idea we could have.

Over the next year, Jesi and I would make countless priceless memories together, from attending Jesi's first Red Sox game (a date I had always wanted to do) to flying to Orlando to go to the parks there. While in Florida in February of 2023, I decided I wanted to ask Jesi to marry me. Over the next few months, I bought a custom ring and booked an opportunity to propose to Jesi on the Jumbotron at Fenway park. I almost blew the surprise, but Jesi's mom was able to make her think the proposal wasn't at Fenway and the surprise was beautiful. Just under a month later, Jesi and I got married on paper at Boston City Hall. Since then, Jesi and I have led the lives we've always wanted and we will make so many more memories together.
