Our Wedding

It all began when two 15-year-olds met through mutual friends in high school. What started as a lighthearted friendship quickly became a daily connection—laughing, growing, and denying the obvious until we finally acknowledged what was clear to everyone else. On May 2, 2017, we officially called it what it was: love.Since that day, we’ve never left each other’s side.From navigating the trials of COVID, college, and growing into adulthood, one thing has always remained constant—our love for one another, and our shared commitment to supporting each other’s dreams and building a life together. Now, after years of memories, milestones, and a love that only deepened with time, we’re engaged, we own a home, are raising more animals than we can count, and are each thriving in our professional journeys.We’ve created a lifetime of moments already, and we’re just getting started. As we prepare to step into this new chapter as husband and wife, we’re filled with gratitude for the people who’ve walked alongside us. Whether you've been there from the beginning or joined us along the way, your support, love, and presence have made our journey richer and more meaningful.We can’t wait to share a piece of our story—and our hearts—with you at our wedding. Nick is the guy you call at a moment’s notice—and somehow, he always shows up ready to help, no questions asked. He’s been a constant in our lives since high school and knew both of us before “Nate and Jess” were even a thing (crazy, right?).

You’re one of the most genuine people we know, and honestly, Nate couldn’t have picked a better partner-in-crime to stand by his side on one of the biggest days of his life.

Thanks for being the go-to guy, and the steady friend. We’re so lucky to have you along for the ride!

Even before we got engaged, I always knew I wanted my sister to play a big role in our wedding—and what better way than to have her as my Maid of Honor.

Liv has always been my little sister, and over time, she’s naturally become like a little sister to Nate, too. From the very beginning, the two of them shared such a genuine connection, and it’s been so special to watch their bond grow.

Liv is the person I can count on to show up when it matters most—and to tell me the truth, even when it’s not the easiest thing to hear. Her honesty, love, and loyalty mean the world to us.

We love you, Liv—thank you for standing beside us on this journey.

We chose to have only a Best Man and a Maid of Honor, as we felt this was the most meaningful way to honor Nick and Liv and express just how much their presence in our lives truly means to us.At heart, we’re simple people, and for us, the celebration isn’t about the size of the wedding party—it’s about the love, the moments, and the people who matter most.

These are on a first-come-first-serve basis, but if there are any issues or hiccups please reach out to Nate and Jess at nate.jess.russell@gmail.com. Hold on all hotel rooms for the night of the wedding ends January 8th 2026. There is only a hold on all of the rooms for our event on the night of the wedding, if you plan to stay longer we recommend booking as soon as possible.

Places of interest in the UK - Very basic list

* Sandringham palace ( Norfolk )* Any of the little villages along the Norfolk coast.* Cambridge: great place to wander around* Bath: very interesting history and go see the roman bath house.* London: massive selection of historical and fun things to see and do* Cornwall and Deven: further out but fantastic places to visit* There are thousands of cool places to visit if you are making a vacation out of the wedding visit.* Keep in mind flights from Uk to the Europe are inexpensive and quick so you can spread your wings and go mad in Italy or relax in Spain the possibilities are endless all for less than $100 and 2 hrs flight. “Easy Jet” is a good site for cheap flights and accommodation. Please be respectful, we both have full-time jobs and will not plan your vacation. We are happy to answer questions you may have, but please do your own research.
