Jess and Lex first met as freshman year college roommates. Roommates turned into family and their bond has never waivered even when they lived states away. Lex was the first to hear about Jess and Patrick's first meet and the first to be suspicious this would be more than just a single dinner. Turns out she was right.

Jess and Emily were freshman year roommates and have shared many adventures since then. While Emily worked in Virginia as a travel nurse, she and Jess spent countless nights on the porch drinking wine and discussing what the future might hold for Patrick and Jess. What once felt like a fairytale developed into the love story we celebrate today.

Gina and Jess met while in training for work and became friends while spending multiple sunny days on the beach. She is also the matchmaker that encouraged Patrick and Jess to meet for dinner while Jess was home for the holidays.

Beverly is Jess's Sister-In-Law. After Kyle introduced Beverly to the family, Jess and Beverly became more like sisters than in laws. Beverly was one of the first to know about Jess and Patrick's first date and helped to ease Jess's nerves when Patrick was introduced to her family for the first time.

Cylee and Jess met while in PA school in North Carolina. They became close friends over multiple late night study sessions, hikes, walks, Sundays watching football, and endless dinners. Jess had the opportunity to stand beside Cylee on her wedding day and now Cylee will be standing beside Jess on her wedding day.

Anthony is Patrick's younger brother. They have always loved playing video games, competing in sports, and just hanging out. Whenever Patrick visits the family in Virginia they still play FIFA 10 on Xbox 360 just like the good old days.

Devon and Patrick met in high school and have been great friends for 15 years. They both were on the cross country and track teams and are now known for having frequent and extremely long phone calls covering everything from life and advice, current events, and topics of interest with tons of laughing in-between.

Patrick and Nick met freshman year of college and have been close friends ever since. They both love to hike, backpack, camp and travel and have traveled to all 4 corners of the country visiting National Parks, exploring new cities, and enjoying the wilderness.

Kyle is Jess's older brother and a good friend. Patrick knew he had a good future brother-in-law when he saw how easily he could give Jess a hard time over nothing.

Patrick and Luke are college roommates who are close friends since the first week of college freshman year. From having fun and studying together in college to going fishing and exploring Ohio together as adults, there are always laughs and good times.
