This is a barn/farm wedding, and we’ll be outdoors for most of the celebration. The ground has character — think divots, roots, uneven spots, and a few charming obstacles (both natural and… not so natural). We want everyone dancing the night away, not nursing a twisted ankle. 💃🕺

We get it, stilettos and skinny heels do look fabulous, but they will absolutely lose the battle against this terrain.

Wedges, block heels, cowboy boots, flats, dress shoes, sneakers — all great choices.

Choose stability.

Choose joy.

Choose not sinking into the earth.

Your ankles will thank you!

As for attire, if we have to give it a label, we’d say semi-formal-ish.

But truly? We care way more about you being comfortable than fitting into a category. And if you’ve ever met us, you know that’s kind of the theme of the whole wedding.

Some guests may rock a new dress or a sharp suit.

Some guests may go with jeans and a nice shirt.

Some guests may wear an embarrassing fuzzy onesie.

Regardless, you are perfect exactly as you are!

Our only real rule: please do not attend in your birthday suit. This is still a family event. 😉

Come dressed in whatever makes you feel confident, comfortable, and ready to celebrate. We can’t wait to party with you!
