Jess and Brendan met the summer of 2021, shortly after both of them moved to Detroit. Jess was just starting medical school at Wayne State and Brendan just starting his Emergency Medicine residency at Henry Ford Hospital. It all started at the climbing gym, Dyno Detroit, which opened in Eastern Market a few months prior! They met while projecting the same route, a v6 with yellow holds in the corner of the gym, commiserating on how difficult the problem was for them. Things blossomed from there! Their first dates were pretty much all within Eastern Market those months after meeting, including their now favorite spots: Eastern Market Brewing Company, Supino's Pizza, Jose's Tacos, and many, many more trips to the climbing gym! The city of Detroit means so much to Jess and Brendan; it will forever be where their love began. They currently live in Corktown and still visit that climbing gym almost daily! Each of you is part of their love story and they cannot wait to share this special day with you!
