For our travelers from Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, etc. there is a toll when you come to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge/Tunnel. The ride is basically a straight shot on the highway until you have to turn left to get to our house. Please use your signal and slow down in a enough time to get to the house safely. Please pay attention to the speed limits the entire stretch. It is very common to be pulled over especially in the towns of Cape Charles, Exmore, Melfa, and Onley. It usually takes us 1 hour and 30 minutes to travel. If you have not traveled this way before, I suggest giving yourself 2 hours to give yourself enough time. Also, if you need to stop at gas stations for bathroom or gas, we suggest Royal Farms, there is one after you get off the bridge on the left, one in Exmore on the right, and one in Onley on the left. If you are not able to do the trip, we completely understand, just be sure to RSVP and let us know. We also included local hotels if you would like to spend the night in the area on Saturday and leave Sunday morning.
