Hi everyone! Sam here. How do I know Jess? It’s feels like I’ve known her my whole life. Oh wait, I have. As one of my big sisters, I’ve always looked up to her and tried to follow in her footsteps….all the way to the tennis courts. I ~may~ not have been the best skilled so Jess suggested summer camp. That’s where some guy named Alan was my coach. He didn’t know it then, but that was the first of many different lessons from golf to cooking. He’s the big brother I never had. I’m so excited these two are ~finally~ getting married.

Hi, my name is Chandree and I have the absolute honor of being Alan’s best man. Our friendship goes way back—to Ms. Meier’s 6th grade math class, where we bonded over our shared confusion about fractions, which then somehow, turned into a lifelong friendship. Since then, we’ve been best friends through thick and thin, with countless late-night gaming sessions, and more Legend’s Wing Nights than I can count. Jess has been an incredible friend to me over the years, despite witnessing Alan and mine’s borderline-inappropriate bromantic moments that most fiance’s would not tolerate. She has been there for me just as much as Alan has, and I’m lucky to call her a friend. I’m looking forward to stealing more Target shopping carts with her in the future. Even after we left our original roles, we stuck together and continued to support each other in our ridiculous ideas. Hi, my name is Tiffany and if you don’t know me then I’m the best and funnier Bui sibling. I first met Jess after Alan cornered me in my room to tell me that he was dating this girl who also plays tennis. So obviously, I do what I do best (which is being nosy) and went to go check out this girl on the tennis courts under the guise of visiting my doubles partner. Jess definitely caught me but lurking… but alas, we have been through all the ups and downs of high school, college, and more together. Jess has always supported me no matter what and has become one of the greatest friends I could ever ask for. Most importantly, Jess is probably more Asian than me with all the deals she manages to get when we go shopping. I’ve had the honor of watching these two grow up together and I’m excited to watch them grow old together. Hi my name is Christian. Alan has been a brother ever since I stepped fresh off the boat from the Philippines. Throughout our high school days, we had big tennis moments where I beat him miserably, and we also entered the world of sports betting where we ended up working to pay off our debts. Our journey didn’t end there where he decided to follow me to UIC and begged me to be his roommate. Living with him wasn’t a nightmare as long as we ended the night with a FIFA dub. Throughout life, he has always been there to support me and I am always thankful for his friendship.
