Yes we will provide a mouth watering sausage and/or bacon sandwich, however if you do not wish to eat this, please bring your own alternative...

How many times will the guests be fed?

There will be one main meal (Pizza or hog roast) and a buffet in the evening, we would advise our guests to eat before the ceremony as it is later on in the afternoon.

What's the deal with alcohol?

- There will be a canoe filled with alcoholic and soft drinks for the welcome drinks. - There will be wine, Prosecco and water provided on the tables - There will also be a selection of Ale's free of charge - Other than the above, you are free to bring your own alcohol

Is there accommodation available?

Camping will be available for anyone that wishes to party the night away. There will be 2 campsites available, a family friendly and a not so family friendly campsite.... YOU NEED TO BRING YOUR OWN CAMPING EQUIPMENT. If you do not wish to camp, there are hotels, bnb's and Airbnb's in the surrounding area but you will need to sort this out yourselves, as well as the transport when you wish to leave.

When should I set up camp?

If you are local you are welcome to come up to the farm from Thursday onwards to set up camp ready for the weekend... If you are travelling from afar, there will be time after the ceremony whilst pictures are being taken for you to set up camp... Any further questions drop one of us a message

Can we have a campfire?

We ask that you DO NOT under any circumstances build a fire on the campsite. This is my brother-in-laws land and we ask that it is respected.

What is the Ceremony venue like?

The ceremony venue is at Our Lady & St. Joseph's Church, Bank Road, Matlock - DE4 3NG Parking can be extremely tight if you want to be near the church so leave enough time for you to get parked and get to the church on time, we do not want any late comers!

What is the Reception venue like?

The reception venue is on a farm - I'm sure you all know we cannot control the weather so if you are camping, bring something warm for when the temp drops and possibly comfy footwear - the crocs will be making an appearance at some point so there is no judgement here! Please prepare for any weather (other than snow...hopefully)

Can I take photos during the ceremony

We wish to have an unplugged ceremony, please enjoy our ceremony through the naked eye and not through a camera lens, it would really upset us to see a load of mobile phones in our professional wedding photos...we trust our amazing photographer!

Can I bring a plus 1

If you have a plus 1 then it will come up when you RSVP, if not, please don't turn up with someone without asking myself or Sam.

Where can I smoke?

There will be a designated smoking area, sign posted, with a bucket for the remains. We ask that you only smoke in these areas, we don't want to find cigarette ends on the land.

What would the bride and groom like as a wedding gift?

Your presence is more than enough, but if you would like to shower us with your love even more, a small contribution to our honeymoon would be greatly appreciated... In the summer of 2025 we are planning an 7 week long trip to either New Zealand or Thailand/Bali so a contribution towards this will go very far!
