On Jess’s Side

Matron of Honor – Katie Dieker

Katie is Jess’s cousin through her Aunt Ellen (Jess’s mom Paula’s sister) — but she’s always felt more like a sister. From dressing up as twins to building forts, ice skating, and marathon poker game battles as kids, theirs has always been a bond built on laughter, competition, and love. After college, they lived near each other in Wrigleyville and made a tradition of boozy brunches in Chicago’s most iconic neighborhoods. Summers boating on Lake Geneva with Chucks’ infamous purple drinks were the vibe — and the stories are still retold. Now, with Jess in LA and Katie in Chicago, and their kids just starting to get to know each other, the bond between them hasn’t skipped a beat — it’s the kind of closeness that distance can’t touch. Jess had the honor of standing by Katie as her Maid of Honor, and now Katie is returning the love, just like she always has.

Maid of Honor – Lisa Veatch

The ultimate high school bestie, Lisa and Jess first met as doubles partners on the Schaumburg High School tennis team. Since then, there’s never been a Blink-182 song they didn’t scream-sing while driving around town. From teenage chaos to adult milestones, they’ve shared over 25 years of memories, laughter, and unconditional friendship.

Bridesmaid – Nancy Molitor

Jess met Nancy at 19 through a business connection — and let’s just say the rest is nightlife history. Nancy was the friend who always brought the party *and* might have gotten Jess into a few clubs before she turned 21 (shhh). Over two decades later, she remains a constant — full of fun, fierce loyalty, and that forever kind of friendship.

Flower Girl – Slone Geisler

Our fearless daughter and the tiniest boss on the block. Slone is already running the show in our household — full of big energy, big opinions, and the biggest heart. She’s been counting down to this moment and cannot wait to make her flower girl debut.

Ring Bearer – Grey Geisler

Our spirited little guy with a heart that’s *way* bigger than he is. Grey brings the wild energy, endless hugs, and nonstop curiosity to every room he enters. He’s equal parts adventure and affection — and he’s beyond excited to strut down that aisle and show everyone what love looks like (with a little mischief sprinkled in).

On Erick’s Side

Best Man – John Peeler

Lifelong friend and brother-level confidant, John has been a constant in Erick’s world through the best and worst of times — the kind of friend who shows up, no questions asked.

Groomsman – AJ Popov

AJ is Jess’s younger brother, but has been more like a friend to both Jess and Erick. His humor, heart, and energy are unmatched — and we couldn’t imagine this day without him by our side.

Groomsman – Patrick Murphy

Patrick has been part of Erick’s inner circle for years — thoughtful, hilarious, and the best guy to have in your corner, especially when things get real (or ridiculously fun).
